Black people have a gene white people don't that has proven them to have better genetics athletically.
I read it around the time of the Olympic games.Think the BBC explained it.

There are around 50 million whites people and around 4 million blacks people soo chances are there are fewer back people in the sport. In fact there are more Asian people than there are back people soo I presume you’re also surprised there isn’t any Asian people?

Also to add the squad has 3 black people in it. 3 out of 25. 12% of the squad are black. Thus they are fairly represented. No Asians though. Maybe this is where the faux outcry should be
Because everyone can play football... I can't think of an all white England team in my life.
I've also not made a bold claim im just saying I find it surprising and I won't rule out white privalage because it exists.
