But we already had them contracts, we didn't go out signing players that would have contracts that size. We used loans and a few free players to support the squad and only spent relatively small transfer fees and presumably contracts that were in proportion to the league we were in.

We might all be wrong and Morrison may look like a bargain with 25 goals and 30 assists to go along with winnning every man of the match award before the end of the season. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Also true I suppose, West Ham are making more risks than we did but possibly will be better prepared for the PL. As for Morrison, I know a lot of the best players have an attitude but there's a difference between Ronaldo-ish arrogance and just being a twat.

Good motivation for him to help get them promoted but imagine someone who's meant to be worse than Ranger earning 65k a week and living in London <yikes>

If they paid Morrison £65k per week they're ****ing nutters.

I hope they don't come back up again. They get right on my tits.

West ham have delusions of grandeur. They still think they are a big club and in the prem. Ffs they 'went in for' Tevez!
I must admit I look for them to get beat and Brum to win each week.

West Ham are the second greatest Club in England next to Newcastle. Their academy is the only thing that can rival Newcastle, and to some extent Liverpool's talent over the years

Firstly i don't really think it is 65kpw, i think your just believing the presses word for it which is quite foolish.
Secondly i just think their taking a big risk on being overly confident about promotion, but to be fair their top of the championship, and bought in two very good players in Riardo te vaz and nicky Maynard, which will greatly enhance their strike force.
