Not sure about this conspiracy stuff, they have had a red card after ten minutes. They don't play pretty football but they're a good team. We just have to keep the pressure up on them.
Let's be honest, we wouldn't have thought, at the start of the season, that we'd be worrying about a battle for top spot, would we? Make the most of it I say, we're overachieving with the squad we have.
From the BBC: So that's two goals in the last seven days that have directly affected us, that should have been disallowed for a foul on the keeper.
We've had more than our fair share of luck with results going our way so far in the season, it's time to stop relying on other teams slipping up I reckon.
Just want Cardiff to drop point(s) today because psychologically I like us in the top two, but it's the position at end of the season that counts. I don't care who we go up with as long as we go up and I think we will win plenty of games before the end of the season.
I am willing to bet my HTC, Xbox 360, 30" TV, Debit Card and pin number that even if they do appeal, the suspension will NOT be rescinded.
It's all about the end of the season. As Adkins has said many a time, the table will fluctuate throughout the season.
This is a tough league. Our early season form was never going to last. In essence, we have overperformed from what was a League One team last season, losing to the likes of Rochdale.
But how many have played at the top end of the Championship? Davis, Connolly and Jaidi spring to mind, but that's about it - and Jaidi hasn't even played for us yet.
Of course. But then that could be said about Norwich and now look at them, two promotions on the bounce and they currently lie 11th in the Premier League. While I am not going to say we'll do the same, we're in a great position and failure to go up from here will be disappointing. That said, whatever happens, this season won't be an out-and-out failure even if we do fail to go up automatically, bearing in mind where we were last season. I'll go with Nigel when he said 'Not too up when we win, not too down when we lose'.
Norwich scraped through in second, the fact we were top for so long has exploded a lot of our fans' expectations and now some wouldn't be happy with a playoff place. Perspective is needed.
Some people do get a little carried away, it's true. I'm going to just be quietly optimistic but not wildly so.
I'm with Nicola on this. He said last year he would accept a play-off spot if we were guaranteed a win. It's not a case of me thinking that this year is a failure if we don't get promoted..we have had a great start...above what we could expect. However, we have given ourselves a terrific chance and we may not have a season like it next year. This is a hard league to get out of and chances must be grabbed.
