    Saturday 4/11/2017

    17.30 GMT

    Venue Taxpayers Stadium London Stadium

Television – Yes BT Sport 1 (Yuk)

Only time we have met at the Taxpayer Stadium was 14/05/2017 with the result being a resounding 0-4 win to the Reds.

So we move back to the league following on from another successful European night . With our present away form being a major concern we can only hope we start to get back to some form or else we are relying on Whams defence being worser than ours. Both managers are under pressure with Bilic being under most.In fact with the consensus of opinion being Bilic is still in a job only due to the sleaze merchants being too tight to pay him off his days must be numbered.

With Clyne , Lallana , Mane , Coutinho , Wijnaldum & Lovren all missing the team pretty much picks itself

    PL Position
    P W L D GF GA GD Pts
    LFC 6th 10 4 4 2 17 16 +1 16
    WHAM 16th 10 2 3 5 10 19 -9 9

    PL Form
    P W L D GF GA GD Pts
    LFC 6 2 3 1 9 8 +1 9
    WHAM 6 1 3 2 6 9 -3 6

tried to find video of my personal favourite match against the Spanners which was a 0-4 win in 1976 including a Toshack hatrick & 1 for Keegan but no luck.If my memory is right Keegans was a diving header – whatever happened to them !

i see you are falling for thier guff and adding content :)

I agree with you btw the team is bare bones

    Mingolet
    Gomez Matip Klavan Moreno
    Milner Henderson can
    Salaha Sturridge Firmino

    Bench:
Karius, Robertson, Taa, grujic, solanke, woodburn and the only sub that will come on Ox.....

It seems to me that this international break needs to return us 3 or 4 players.

I HOPE coutinho is not travelling and niether should mane. if both travel we will be ****ed up.

Lallana seems to be slowly coming back and windy won't be that bad i think....

2 more weeks before southampton at home should mean we are back up to some strength.... oh and i forgot... LOVREN

Our poor away form has to end sometime. And what better place to do it than the London stadium?

West Ham will be under pressure to get a result too and that could play into our hands. They have been really gutted by that last second equaliser by Palace and the loss of 2 points.

The difference between our defence playing at home and away is really marked. We hardly concede at home but away we are like a sieve. Reason? teams defend in depth with 10 players behind the ball at Anfield and defenders do not come under pressure. Away the opposition will attack and even if they concede they will throw the kitchen sink knowing they have to get a result. So it is matter of attitude and resilience as much as skill.

West Ham is not going to be easy, they are going to be playing long ball to Andy Carroll to head . Andy Carroll also believes he's good enough to
play for Liverpool and would like to prove a point.

Lovren almost certainly out & Carroll not first choice atm so that contest will probably be a draw.

Maybe, West Ham are going to be kicked out that stadium eventually, the stadium owners are going bankrupt. Unfortunately for them their old stadium has been demolished.

    Bill Shankly:

Liverpool were in the dressing room prior to an away game at West Ham. Shankly told his players, 'Theres nothing for you to beat today. Ive been watching the West Ham players come in. That Bobby Moore can hardly walk and Geoff Hurst looks ill to me. I dont want you to be too cruel to them though so I want you to stop when youve scored 5.'

Early in the second half it was 5-0 to Liverpool. Peter Thompson ran past the dug out and shouted to Shankly, 'Shall we put the shutters up now that weve got 5?'

Shankly shook his head and called out 'No. Humiliate the bastards!!!'
