I beg to differ, we lost the last one you watched <laugh> That's some kind of influence you have there.

    We'd have won 25-0 if you hadn't.

Today is a game we should really win. I am not saying it will be easy but if we are and want to remain part of the big 6 (at least) and as a CL team then this is a sort of game we need to win.

Weve had a tough start and playing many top half teams but it s time to catch up as our rivals get to play each other.

If Mane plays then we should be very confident of a win. West Ham will be cautious too as they wouldn't want the game to run away from an early stage. We will need to be patient and play to the last second. A win is a win and is three points. A draw to West Ham (with due respect) is almost a defeat.

    I agree totally.

Anything can happen in a game but the minimum is looking like you want it as much as your opponent.

We do need to win these games 200% as in these are actually more important than an away game we lose yo man city. This is bread and butter

No Milner, who I thought had been half decent last couple of games.

    Ox starts in midfield.....

Klavan is a weak link as is that central midfield.

Great to see Mane back....WHU have issues at the back, let's hope we tear them a new one rather than give up silly goals!

So Oxlade replaces Coutinho in midfield. So much for him not getting a central role any time soon...

I am very very worried about this game
Had this been 3pm ko i would have fancied us but under lights and no-one expecting them to win wham could be very dangerous

Oxlade may be the middle of the midfield three as he thinks that is his best position, no one else does though

One consolation is it shows the squad has greater depth than last year even if a number of the team / bench aren't fully fit.
