Dutch Newspaper Algemeen Dagblad says the transfer rumour is pure speculation and based on nothing. AD says that according to sources near Sneijder debunked the rumour and that no contract has been signed by the Dutchman with the Spurs. The newspaper states that the Italian press made this story out of thin air and are complete bullocks. Source: http://www.ad.nl/ad/nl/1052/Premier-League/article/detail/3368990/2012/12/27/Sneijder-naar-Spurs-Niets-van-waar.dhtml There you have it
I don't believe the Italian claim to be true, but I think that the Dutch claim's probably similarly invented. "My source says it's happening!" "Yeah, well my source says that it's not!" "Care to name either of your sources? No? Didn't think so."
Que sera, sera!...However, i still think it's highly unlikely as Sneijder seems too money orientated to come to Spurs.
No offence meant Cove, I just find it hard to believe anything that journalists come out with nowdays, especially when they claim anonymous sources for their material. I suspect that Sneijder's people are trying to make sure that he gets a move and using Spurs to advertise his availability, in all honesty.
That's what I suggested on page three of this thread. There's probably a third party in this matter that Sneijder's manager wants to put pressure on by releasing anonymous press statements. But in all honesty, I can't think of one top club that can offer him a solid spot on midfield right now.
He is just a money grabbing whore football mercernary ... Unless he joins then he'll be the best prem player in history the
Happy new year people. Not on much for the week or so This Sneijder thing isn't going away...if we get him we are sorted I think for them slide rule passes we have been lacking
