We poached Lallana from Bournemouth, didn't we...
I don't think you can compare that. Lallana was in junior school when we got him and a mere twinkle. We have invested a lot of time and money into developing some of the best young talent in the country. Plus we only nabbed lallana we didn't keep coming back for more, we also helped Bournmouth out with regular friendlies and Loans.

Buying players from other clubs is the nature of the game. If done correctly without tapping up the player before contacting his club, it's perfectly legal. For some teams (including us in the past) it can be a life saver. We are, fortunately, in the position where we can turn down unacceptable offers, but this sort of thing happens even to Prem clubs..Arsenal and Spurs for example.

IMO Wenger has a track record of signing and then ruining young English players careers. Richard Wright, Franny Jeffers, Theo Walcott. Even his home grown brits like Lansbury are loaned out in favour of donkeys like Song.

He continually favors foreign players and certainly looks like Arsenal are on the decline as a club and under massive pressure. Im sure it would wind the gooners up to say it, but I think Spurs have much more of a successful period on the horizon, as do Liverpool, and obviously the Mancs and Chelski.

If I were Chamberlain I would run a mile and live the saints dream!

Song is a superb player mate.

From all I can see he is a clumsy enforcer. Poor going forward and isn't good enough for a club with top four ambitions. Playing him has and hindered the development of willshire who is another overlooked late developer and a class act. Another great wenger achievement

How old is Jack Wilshere, 18/19? He went to Bolton, which did him good and now he's the best midfielder in the country and a regular fixture for Arsenal. He's the exception rather than the rule IMO.
