Pompey sold the first group of tickets to people who had been to the previous rounds

Seems fair, but what’s the season ticket numbers for Pompey?

Likely they were never gonna miss out. Having said that if we’ve 24k or so season tickets then neither would we. So I don’t know my point here haha.

So, season ticket holders and then partial season ticket holders get first dibbs. Absolutely fair enough.

If you don't have a SAFC membership number do you still get a chance of general sale afterwards?

Must be mate there’s around 15k left even if every season ticket holder takes. That’s assuming it’s 1 per card.

It all depends on how SAFC want to allocate tickets. I just hope it's not like this - 6 tickets per SC holder :emoticon-0104-surpr

**** This is from the Portsmouth FC web site ****
Monday, March 11 (8am) – online and phone sales only

Supporters who have purchased a ticket for at least one of Pompey’s previous Checkatrade Trophy games this season will be able to buy up to six tickets per client reference number.
Please note that fans will only be on our database if they bought a Checkatrade Trophy ticket in advance – either online, by phone or from the ticket office – and not on the evening of the game.
Monday, March 11 (1pm) – online and phone sales only
All season ticket holders and former shareholders will be able to purchase up to six tickets per client reference number.
    Wednesday, March 13 (9am)
A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase directly from the Anson Road ticket office for season ticket holders and former shareholders who do not have the means to purchase either online or over the phone.
    Monday, March 18 (8am)
Tickets will, subject to availability, be placed on general sale and up to nine can be bought per client reference number.
Supporters who book tickets must be on the club’s ticketing database and have purchased tickets within the past two seasons. This is a Wembley stipulation to ensure opposition supporters cannot buy tickets from Pompey’s allocation.

6 per person is standard Ticketmaster, but I’d be very surprised if we didn’t amend that.

If it’s wholly managed by Ticketmaster then likely that will indeed be the case, but would be a really poor way to handle a fan base like ours.

The club may have no input whatsoever.

Sounds sweet. How many going? Was budgeting around 150-200 for accomodation so that quote fits if 4 or 5 of us. Can afford more like so don't be worried about me not making my share.

    Polite request again chaps.
Could you please contact Portsmouth FC with all your unsold tickets as all ours have already been allocated so we’re in desperate need of your excess ones.
    Thanks again in advance

Sounds good. I don't drive just so you know so all I can offer in travel money is my share on juice though I always encourage that whoever drives long distance shouldn't pay in on juice at all.

We'll sell ours, don't get your hopes up as we'll be asking the EFL for more. We actually attend games as you can see by the huge contrast in average attendances in both league and this competition. Idiotic to assume we'll have any excess but we're not all blessed with a functioning brain.

the chronicle said that Ticketmaster sell them we get 39,979 prices are £22.40 to £62.40 17-21 year olds £17.40 - £47.40 east end of wembley area. i am with ticket master and you get charged a booking fee and postage etc usually but that was for a concert so could be different. I am wondering will Stuart book a train or trains for supporters going there ? better going together and that takes about three and a quarter hours to get to london as i have done it twice.

We don’t have ‘excess tickets’ for 600 mile round trips on a Tuesday night fella.

We’d easily sell 60k. This is likely why your highest attendance of the season (which was 26k lower than our highest, despite similar populations...), was against us.
