I couldn't agree more. The first mistake was allowing people, who possibly had not been to any games for years to purchase 'Priority Memberships' from Sat evening. I saw posts from people on social media who normally gloat about Chelsea / Arsenal / Man u (delete applicable) telling the world how they had secured their Wembley ticket and having the bare faced cheek to sign off, OTBC!! If you have been to games you will have a customer number which should have been taken into account. We should have ensured the people who have supported the Club over the years (not all of them great) were rewarded with a ticket, as per the Villa model you quoted (although I hope they get dicked in the final). I'm lucky as have been a season ticket holder for many years so have my ticket but really think the Club could have been smarter around allocation. Hope you get sorted.

I don't get to as many games as I would like but I looked at my customer number today and I have attended 45 games in the last 3-4 years and I did have a priority membership for 2 years but it elapsed. It's not quite right that someone who has never been to a game could just purchase a priority membership and get tickets and people like me cannot.

Just checked more, quite a few of them were cup games.

You've been to quite a few more than me Kemp and I was pretty annoyed. Wrote an email to the customer services team - the lady in the ticket office who I spoke to was very nice and agreed that they need to sort it out and recommended I email a complaint because if enough people do they'll get the idea.

Unfortunately I suspect it's too little too late for you for this game - I'm really sorry about that.

This is correct. The one additional allocation they will be allowed does not need to be bought for a ST holder/Priority Member, it could be for anyone (whereas the eight they first bought apparently all had to be for ST holders or Priority Members).

Having a previous booking history makes no difference. I never got priority membership because I haven't ever had a problem getting away tickets. The really frustrating part is that priority membership was on sale until Sunday morning, so there were (as you can imagine) a lot of people quick off the mark who got their priority membership then booked tickets.

The one additional ticket thing is slightly odd - if you've already bought your tickets, why would you want one more? There will almost certainly be no space next to you, so this is bound to just produce a secondary market in ticket selling...

Very disappointed with the way the club has handled this - I know that Villa do booking history for the FA cup final and that makes much more sense for what is genuinely a once in a lifetime type opportunity.

Totally agree Rob, there is no way the club should have sold 'Priority Memberships' after 2pm on Saturday and all it means is that a lot of those with Wembley tickets are not true fans, but 'glory hunters'. Also don't agree that if I could get to the ticket office on Wednesday afternoon, to be in the queue for 6pm, then I could buy 2 additional tickets It's just WRONG!!!!! :emoticon-0149-no:

Makes me that little bit more annoyed that I didn't keep my season ticket this season. It was a hard decision to not renew it, especially as I made that choice long before we were relegated last year, so to now miss out on potentially my only chance to see Norwich at Wembley is an extra kick to the sack.

it comes across as being very greedy, something you dont expect from your own club to its loyal fans. I hope im wrong and there is genuine reason\answers but if a lot of people get left out this time its going to be a problem. i realise money benefits our own club but they must not forget TV money also pays their wages, people who dont always go are paying in other ways with merchandise and Tv packages, its very unfair if this is true..
