The only difference is that it ends up costing me money mate.

I'm on the phone constantly and have helped loads of people with transport, tickets and, now, trying to help a Darlo lad with a hotel bed ....

The bloke who runs our bus (good mate of FW's) goes through hell sorting tickets out for folk. I wouldn't do what he does for a gold pig. Half of the miserable sods don't even buy him a pint for his troubles.

    Good on you mate.

It can be frustrating but most people are great.

I've had help, over the years, so try to give a bit back.

A lad on here, who may wish to be anonymous, helped with two for me and my son when I had none.

Since then I've sorted about 2 dozen people and will be meeting up in Trafalgar Square on Saturday night then the Globe and Wembley on the day.

We're a decent bunch on the whole, FW has helped countless people over the years ....

From a sheduled 8 o'clock departure we eventually set off at 9:40 ('cos of a puncture) then we crawled down to Washington Services, where we had to wait for two passengers who were late (we were already blinking late, as above . . . . how on earth ?). Then we picked up at Durham Services, which was as smooth as ow't, and we were on our way :emoticon-0148-yes:

Then we passed Leeds and turned onto the M62 . . . . we were curious :emoticon-0112-wonde

The driver changed direction, turned back and onto the M1(south, fortunately), and said that he'd been 'daydreaming' <doh>

I'm hoping that this is the bad stuff out of the way :emoticon-0136-giggl

I thought that I'd post this fotie of a few of us at Wembley (in front of Bobby Moore) . . . . it's taken me this long to find someone clever enough to reduce the size from 4.54mb to 1.7mb (the maximum is 2mb to upload on here).

Anyway, this is (from left to right) Sid(the Mackem), Bri., Smug, my mate John, Me, and Smug's son Graham :emoticon-0105-wink: . . . . and a seemingly pregnant Portsmouth fan :emoticon-0136-giggl
