Fortune favours the brave mate, if you're there you might just get lucky.

I've only ever failed to get in once, over 50 years, Villa away when we needed to win and 10,000+ turned up.

I've just managed to help one more person with a ticket and one with a cheap train from Durham ...

... so you never know.

Take my number and message me, I'll delete it in a few minutes
Cheers mate. I'll fire you a message now and I was planning on going to the Argyle Saturday anyway so we'll see you there :emoticon-0148-yes:

I deleted your number from the quote/reply.

That's great, looks like being another excellent turnout.

I have to mention, there are lots of people on here and elsewhere who help sort all these tickets out as well as everything else.

I just act as a focal point because enough people know me and that I'll do what I've promised.

@malagamackem booked flights, hotels, etc, today just because I said he was sorted ...

... he transferred the money, for corporate tickets, and will just show up at the Argyll knowing it's all cool :emoticon-0103-cool:

I haven't seen the tickets either and transferred the money without a second's thought because the lad is one of us.

I doubt many other clubs have the network of people we do tbh.

I’ve posted this earlier as a guide but the service is quite regular …

… I’d like to do a bit of Wembley Way stuff so will probably do that and back to the pub after the game.

Great that you're coming <cheers>

There's an alternative to the route you gave too mate.
Bakerloo Line from Oxford Circus (13.12) to Marylebone (13.18) - 6 mins (3 stops)
Chiltern Rail from Marylebone (13.32) to Wembley Stadium Rail Station (13.41)

This service is quite frequent too and takes you to Wembley Stadium Station, which is 15 minutes closer to the stadium by foot than Wembley Park (according to TFL).

We're travelling down on the Friday on the 9.47 from Durham to Kings Cross. Planning on going to Trafalgar Square on the Friday for a 'loosener'.

Staying at Wembley International Hotel. For all we're already at Wembley, I wouldn't miss the Argyle for all the tea in China. So getting the tube there from Wembley Park. Planning on getting there ready for it opening and got a table booked for some nosebag. Can't wait!

Fantastic mate <cheers>

I'll have a look at your travel suggestion, looks a good option.

A poster, from here, is coming to the Argyll and currently booking flights for him and his lovely lass.

Someone just found him two corporate tickets at £520 each so that’s quite an effort …

… the club are releasing them erratically but they may be shuffling tickets with Sheff Utd who just can’t sell theirs.
Mental they can’t shift their ticket allocation mind, must just be us crazy arsed fools haha.

we’re in Club Wembley mate so might pop over to the Argyle for a couple before hand as we have the drinks package there, what time you heading over to the pub?

For anyone coming down for the weekend who finds the tube / bus system in London a bit confusing, there's an app you can download called Citymapper, which is really good.

Just type in where you want to go and it will give you all the best options (bus, tube, a combination of both, etc) along with an ETA and is really easy to follow. Makes getting around the city so much easier

Pub opens at 11am and there'll be quite a few of us there then.

It's great that even those who have corporate, etc, are making the effort to call in.

I'd told the Argyll 50/60 but I'll have to update that ... quite a few eating as well.

Be great to see you mate <cheers>

We should get into KC about 11.10 then want to head to the Devonshire for a pint of the black stuff. Argyll is only 5-10 mins away so should be able to pop over for a couple.

Will hopefully get to the Argyll around 11ish too.

Excellent, do you have a ticket yet?

Aye was me and my brother. We were absolutely hanging after the Friday night. Spoke to whit, you and grumpy I think.

Will be fresh this time with coming down early Saturday and staying over.

Yes, same here ... leaving Trafalgar Square, on Friday, before it gets messy this time.

I'm stopping in Borehamwood on Saturday till Monday, I was going to drive down on Saturday morning.

Thinking of sacking that off and heading part the way down on Friday night so I only have a shorter drive on Saturday.

Any recommendations? Preferably a Premier Inn for the breakfast <laugh> but I'm not too fussed. I would be leaving Sunderland about 6pm on Friday. Peterborough? Nottingham?

TIA

We are staying in Peterborough. Central Travelodge. Canny price and good links to train in KC with cheap enough parking next to hotel.

Weekend parking at Peterborough train station is £15 for the whole weekend if you were planning to leave your car parked for the duration. If I remember correctly the weekend rate starts after 10am on a Friday, but would double check that one.

I was thinking Peterborough like. I'd be driving in from wherever we stop coz I've got the doubletree booked in Borehamwood for the Saturday and Sunday. Getting a lift to whichever pub around wembley off the brother in law so i don't need a train.
