Chin up lads only 3 games gone. Did anyone honestly expect us to get anything from the game today. QPR no points, give them a helping hand to kick start their season etc. We do this season after season and we all tend to forget that. It will never change no matter who we have at the club. We may as well get used to it. I tend to agree a tad with Monty987 on his point that we try more when we are in the s**t. I think the players have the ability but choose when to use it. Anyways I'm going down the town now to get pi**ed while I'm wondering who these 3 top signings are going to be. Enjoy your banter lads.

Yes, I did expect something today from a side that had lost 3 on the bounce managed by a moron.

Right what you say though, these are always the games we lose, we end runs, we end goal droughts for strikers, we start runs of clean sheets for ailing defences.

We are like ****ing Batman, helping others, if Batman was a dog ****ting disappointment.

I had a feeling it would be a tough game but still expected all 3 from this one.

I think what he means is that we seem to struggle away from home against recently promoted/relegation candidates. Like last season we seem to have 'winnable' away fixtures early in the season. I think its harder to win these types of games early in the season! Thats why i would have been over the moon with a point today cos this fixture just had one of those vibes about it where I just felt that we would lose! Not only lose but not play particularly well against a poor side who were there for the taking! We struggle to raise our game when it comes to these types of fixtures basically!

Aye! A team who are struggling and bang out of form must take great consolation that they have Sunderland to play next! Its always been the same, no matter how we are playing or who is in charge! We never seem to rub salt into the wounds of struggling teams!

I never expect 3 points when it comes to Sunderland! I hope, but i never expect! We could beat Man City 4-0 at their place then have the bottom side at home next week! I still wouldnt 'expect' us to win! The only games i expect a win are cup games against lower league opposition, but even then my confidence is tinged with doubt!

    Ah but I'm an optimist.
I do think we are more than capable of beating teams around us and even midtable teams like ManU.

Oh aye! We are capable of winning games. Its just games/scenarios like today is when often we seem to struggle! We didnt pick up many points against the teams around us last season. Thats what should have getting us relegated. I hope that changes this season!

What went wrong was Gus has two wide men on the bench (Buckley and Giach) and he plays Whickam out on the left. His touch was off today. Rodwell was poor and so was Larson for me.

I don't even want to talk about Fletcher because I just think he's ****e right now.

But to lose against weak teams like qpr is just not good enough and this is our biggest problem and has been for a while. We just can't beat the teams around us.
