Oh Dear Sid, I didn't want David Beckhams items but I would rather punch him in the face. It WAS NOT aimed at Superman or anyone else on here. As to the **** Off bit, "Don't take this the wrong way" A bit of banter with my new mate who was winding me up or trying to!
Also I asked about one of YOUR threads that I had contaminated, this is one of mine, just incase you did'n't notice!!
Have I already mentioned basic intelligence?
    Have a nice day.

Got it in one Guru! and you are funny!

Seriously, I used to play in a darts league, and I enjoyed it, but....to compare it to Olympic sports just doesn't compute. As I said at the start, it's about opinions, I'm not taking any offence from you and I hope your not from me?

You have got to remember ILD, those darts weigh several grams apiece. Put that with the many hours of practice and getting bladdered every night for years, and if anyone deserves to be called an 'Olympian' it is the giants of the darts world.

    Hi Yellowlittle,
I always read your posts as they are always based on common sense.
For me it's not so much the straying into other females bits and pieces, (I guess that's in all of us, Ladies included with mens bits and pieces or whatever floats your boat) but it's the blatant commercialism that I have issues with and it's the reason why I dislike the "Beckham brand" scenario. I am just so fed up with seeing his face on just about anything thats got a price tag and some stuff that doesn't. He earns a reputed £5 million a year playing in a sub standard foreign league, he hasn't played in this country for years because he goes where the most money is, so therefore doesn't want anything to do with his country unless it's to his and his brands benefit. Now all of a sudden he wants to come back and deny a younger player the chance of representing his country. I was never his greatest fan anyway, remember getting himself stupidly sent off in the world cup against Argentina when we had possibly the best chance of progressing since 1966? I know you see it differently and I respect your opinions, but the Olympics used to be about different ethics, not about money or commercialism, but about the average normal man/woman doing the very best they could.
I for one don't like what it has become, but I still want to be part of the experience, so I will be, it will be my second Olympics, and probably the last I will be able to be part of, but what the future is for Olympics is quite scary it can't go on like this for much longer, who can afford to keep doing it bigger and better? Thats part of the reason I'm glad Beckham wasn't selected.

Never saw the point of bringing animals into it, it is a posh sport, not that there's anything wrong with that, posh people have always been into bridles and the like, live and let live as you say! No I don't like dressage, but please don't tell me your now going to make a darts comparison????????

Believe Argentina is quite well known for Polo. Only trouble is, if GB were to play them at the moment, the mallet would be aimed everywhere apart from the ball.
