Under Steve Bruce I would have sensed a capitulation coming up however MartiN o'neill has us very well organised at Set Peices and corners. We were awful under Bruce with no real system and conceeded a lot from corners and free kicks. Still this will be a stern test of O'Neill's zonal marking. We can't get pinned into our 18 yard box whixh we allowed to happen in the 2nd half last year!
Fancy us to give Stoke a footballing lesson. Soak up the early bombardment and then hit them on the break. 2-0 .
We are very tight at the back recently and I fancy another clean sheet.... However, we are a little light weigh up front, so on this occasion I go for 0 - 0
It seems we have a smart manager! He thinks to himself, who are we playing soon? Ah, Stoke! I know just the bloke to handle them wrestlers. Nips out end of January and gets in a giant Greek Gladiator. Sorted. 2-0 to SAFC. Cheers Marty.
I don't really fancy Sunderland to win tbh. MON seems to have bad Britannia luck. To be honest though, even if it was a proven fact that he doesn't perform well at the Britannia, I would still take him over Pulis. Also, about the red and white shirt business; Stoke are an older side, but I think that they changed to a red and white at some point after the club's foundation. Who was it that once posted that Stoke were involved in the invention of both penalties and injury time?
Hmmm not PMS but pedantic! I said hate not hating by the way. (Wow being a pedant is catching.) Just explain to me who I'm "hating on" bonny lad.
You asked how old I am earlier, I must be too old. As that flew right over my head. Is it some hip in joke amongst the younger generation? If I jeered Barack Obama, would I get into trouble for barracking Barack?
