So in order to get 28 points before May, we have to become a 56-point-a-season type of team. That, lads, isn't happening. The hole is dug too deep. Ankersen and Sports Republic have done this to us.

As a bonafide happy clapper I am struggling, everyone wants a striker that knows where the back of the away net is, I want a Franny, Beattie, Romeau type battler with fight. Hey ho the championship was enjoyable the second time round after league 1 resurrection.

Sorry NJ, hiring you was a catastrophic error by the club.

Press the Dyche button NOW.

(Suspect Everton will hire him this week anyway so void).

He speaks really well. Can tell he’s a football guy through and through and would be in the stands watching if he wasn’t a manager.

I would ****ing love it if he makes us more aggressive as he says. We need that.

Need to be dirty and hard to beat, score some headers from set pieces occasionally. Instead of just running around and passing backwards.

Os - you’re busy now telling us how you and Lincs were standing against the tide telling us from day one how it was a terrible move, and how you were being called a bed wetter.

As the late Queen might say, “recollections may differ”.

I admit I was taken in by how well he spoke. He said all the right things at the end of the day. And the Liverpool game was quite encouraging. But Jones may as well have spent the entire World Cup break in the boozer for all the good he's done since then.

We all were encouraged by what he was saying initially, despite pretty universally being at least “wtf” about the appointment. Nobody was keen on it, nobody, but being fans we tried to find a positive spin and reasons for optimism.

The whole “only me and Lincoln” stuff is revisionist nonsense though. Unsurprisingly.

Yep. Although I disagree with Lincoln 90% of the time I respect the fact he sticks to his guns despite him being in a minority of one a lot of the time!

This was my positive post trying to be positive because you and your little clique called me negative
