Don't know much about the player but if he has international and Champions League experience already he must have something about him. I would still like Astori to come here as well but can't really see it now as we have 5 CB's.

Who is the real Lovren ? Rated one of the best young players in the world, or the clumsy player that gives away freekicks and penalties for fun.

I can still see Fonte going. If he's not going to be a regular starter, and I don't think he is, then he's going to get a lot of interest.
Actually, he's everything but okay. Looked fantastic against PSG, which was the only OL league game that I can remember watching this year, going up against Ibra. But Lyon fans loathe him owing to inconsistency. He'd have sold for two or three times this to a top team if not for the meltdowns.
And I can still see Astori joining. On Lovren few french people have said if he can get back to how he played before last season we have a great defender.
Little quibble...the thread title should be Saint Dejan if the other similar threads were Saint Gaston and Saint Davide.
I think Fonte would attract more clubs, but perhaps Nige would like to be reacquainted with Jos.

I think Hoiveld will stay- MP seems to like him (over Fonte) and his height makes him useful against drek like west hoof and stoke. I've always liked hoiveld in the air.
How does Lovren compare to astori? Are we disappointed we didn't get him instead?
