I'm a rampant optimist but have tried to be realistic regarding our signings. Evans, Pritchard, Huggins, Cirkin, Broadhead, Hoffman, Broadhead, etc, have all been good signings imo. I deliberate put Evans at the top of that list because I think he could be an important player for us despite the start he's had. I know all teams have injuries but ffs we've had some rotten luck.

I believe this signing, and the others to be announced, will give us a new energy that we've lacked in the last few games.

We are clearly being very smart in our transfer activity which is good.

I think it's just been a while since we signed a marquee kind of player which some people would like to see in.

I'd sooner be thrifty at this point though.
