I guess after the Rodgers/Henderson thing, every player who fights for the shirt has to be given a bit of credit but realistically, Henderson always looked like he would naturally progress to that next level, which he has. Borini's gonna have to graft for it, besides which, his striker/winger role steps all over a host of players who are part of the woodwork in that team now, the Coutinho/Sterling/Lallana set up... I can't see him forcing his way into that.
Sometimes you have to take a step down/back to make progress, he needs to learn that fast before he ends up on loan to some Russian/Turkish club.
Yep, I think Lallana is overrated, but he is at least Borini level, the other 2 are streets ahead, and I believe younger.
He hasn't a cat in hells chance of making it down there, despite being a very capable player.
