Morning Ristac

No you're right, we haven't many players the top six would want, but the ethos at Leeds is the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, or T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More)

It seems to be working.

Rather have Liam Cooper than £85m :emoticon-0136-giggl Harry 'Billy Big Bollocks' Maguire in the side, banged up in Cypress for fighting and accused of trying to bribe the police with some loose change out of his £190,000 PW the arrogant twat.

At least our lads (including Ben White) behaved themselves when having a few beers.

I'd be quite happy to face Liverpool with last season's team, even without White tbh. Think Struijk would do well alongside Cooper.

We can't be held to ransom by clubs like Brighton. I'd rather we walk away and stick with what we've got.

agree with most of that - think the core of the side is a very well oiled machine. My concern is goals. Think I may have mentioned it once or twice.

welcome back btw

Cheers Milky <ok>

Contrary to popular opinion I think Roberts is vital to the squad and this season he'll get a fair few goals, whether that be operating upfront, in the 10 role, or from one of the flanks.

We'll be ok for goals imo

I agree Maquire is an embarrasment to his club and I hope they throw thge book at him but wait a minute MU will pay off nd he will be free today money talks

I hope they do get him back, he's actually not very good. Overpaid, overrated.

Great to see them waste their money

He will be free anyway as the greeks fine people then kick them out. Much better system than what we have. He might have to find another country to holiday in.

I actually think we are in a strong position in the market. Alot of clubs will have maxed out their budgets for the coming season BEFORE covid hit. They have been hit massively by it and have to reduce costs and quickly.

We on the other hand were on a (big) Championship budget with the option of increasing that budget IF we went up. The extra TV money actually leaves us in a really strong financial position where we can increase our budget whilst others around us are trying to cut costs.

Its probably why we are trying for players who would usually be out of our reach. I don't think it's a bad strategy given the financial crisis in football. Try for the best with alternatives in the pipeline.

We are in a strong position. I realise the frustration but patience is the key in this window. Clubs have to sell but they are trying to get the best price. They will eventually have to sell to reduce costs. Its wise to wait it out if that player will become available.
