Weekend Debate

Pity the people who take on this seasonal job nowadays.... wouldn't touch it with the proverbial, unless the barge pole was to keep the gender confused, selfie taking, social media obsessed little darlings at the length of it... deserve a ****ing medal and a top present if they survive the ordeal without being charged by the end of the store closing :emoticon-0173-middl that
Just waiting for someone on here to say that their CiS grand thing is waiting for Mother Christmas to turn up <laugh>

I think this says everything and what the fans know is wrong with the premier league. Found out late last night that Newcastle are going to bring in 3 or 4 top top players on LOAN from Saudi clubs, which is just another way of cheating
Thought there was a rule on the number of loan players a club was allowed?

Farke's attitude towards the upcoming transfer window of we keep what we've got and nobody leaves seems spot on. Some fans however seem to thrive on change and fail to see the benefit of continuity that a quiet window would bring.

My own view is that bringing any player in on loan in January would be a mistake and that's mainly because it's only for a few months so I'm not convinced that they fully commit to the project in the same way that players on a full season loan do. The exception being where an option to buy exists, although that didn't work last season with McKennie.

Then when we come on to the senior players like Cooper and Ayling it's absolutely imperative that they continue to drive performances behind the scenes. If younger players like Gnonto, Gruev, Cresswell etc see those senior pros putting their personal situations to one side for the good of the team then they'll simply have to do the same and will have a learn't a valuable lesson about being professional and driven in a sporting environment.

Roma one up after 5 mins and Llorente and Kristensen both started with Kristensen contributing towards the goal.

Jammy bringing better players in than the ones we are not using seems sound to me. I call that upgrading, something we failed to do before and we went down. Loan players we bring in could be players we want to buy upon promotion so big upgrades and big incentives.

We have been using those players, it's just that the ones if front of them are now doing the business so they'll have to wait for further opportunities.

Time to upgrade is the summer and we go with what we've got this season.

Getting a bit sick now of reading how we need this and/or that to fix whatever it is that posters feel needs fixing.

We're either top, or joint top, of every form table going...that's 4,6,8,10 & 12 games.

Just waiting now for the next ' you snooze you lose ' poster to pop up <laugh>

Oh and the Jamster told you all that Man City would struggle this season due to changes in personel.

Sinisterra and Adams should have made their intentions clear much sooner, but as they're rats they didn't.

It was mid September before we had a settled squad and they've been quite superb ever since. However that doesn't seem to stop some posters wanting to disrupt it all again though.
Who? And what do you mean by disrupt?
