There's no doubt he's a decent coach however until he gets a promotion on his CV then even ****ers like Colin trump him and as the Ipswich manager has already achieved that plus currently stands 7 points clear in the automatic promotion places of the Championship I'd say the evidence is far from conclusive.
That said Carlos is still young and it will be interesting to see if a lower end PL club decides to take a punt on him.

Corboran did well on a tight budget at hudders, has a limited budget again at the baggies so can’t strengthen really - but despite the budget it’s a much better squad than he had at hudders and definitely one of the better ones in the championship. They looked solid today.

Obviously depends on who wants him.
Palace need to replace Hodgson for example and Fulham might decide they'd like to kick on. Also there's potentially the Bounemouth job as they sacked O'Neil even though he kept them up and so the new guy could be in trouble if results aren't good enough and that's before we even get to the bottom three.
Of course he could decide to stay at WBA where promotion will be difficult to achieve plus we all know what happens when you eventually hit a run of poor form.

Sunday morning and papers full of crap ref stories and the Peltier James incident tops the issue list. Leeds had a nailed on penalty not even bothered with. James was left in a heap in the box whilst play carried on. If that goes our way we get a different result as Bamford wasn’t on the pitch then

It felt like 2 points dropped but Rotherham are OK at home, tough to beat.
You can't win the league by Christmas but you can certainly lose it. If we are still in touch with the top 2 come the start of January then we can strengthen. It's not a bad place to be in. We should know by now that the form from January onwards is the real promotion race as the pressure grows on teams in and around the top. Hopefully we will be the ones that rise to the challenge like we did in Bielsa's 2nd season and not fall away like we did in his first attempt.
For now, we've just got to 'stay in it' and edge our way to the 90pts marker.
Ipswich have a tough Christmas schedule and have hit a few bumpy results and Leicester have issues with players going to the African Nations Cup in January. Meanwhile we are talking about bringing players in to strengthen.
Disappointing result on Friday but its not a disaster. There's no panicking from @NostradEmus just yet.

Emu where would you strengthen in January? For me a striker who WILL score goals. A CB who is better than what we have and I include Charlie Cresswell in that, he needs to be on a par with Rodon and a Djed Spence type LB

Nice to have a player who's chosen to stay and also backs his ability so much that if he were to leave then it will only be to a top club.
