Weekend Debate

Let’s assume we earn promotion back to the PL at the first time of asking, I’d hope those out on loan and playing zero part are not entitled to an automatic promotion bonus or pay rise.

Llorente would have played last season at Roma on his PL wage so I assume they’re paying his relegated 40% reduced salary this time round

I’m going to go out in a bit of a limb here but what I’ve seen so far we’re not going to be promoted this season

Sick of seeing headlines Sniffer could have written, like a fool I clicked on Leeds now speaking to world class coach, turns out to be FARKE FFS. If hes world class how come I only ever see Nagelsman, Pochetino, Tuchel, Gallardo, Bielsa, Pep named when big jobs come up. Never seen FARKE mentioned in the same article

That’s the social media way of over hyping everything. Kinda works as it gets us to read the article before discovering its rubbish. Farke and world class is certainly a major stretch <laugh>

Just wondering how much of Radz's majority shareholding have the 49ers actually bought ?

If we imagine 11 new investors at 4% each that would leave then only needing to stump up for a roughly an extra 10% themselves.

my local side wakefield afc who play way down the pyramid have moved back in with wakefield rugby league .i only live a couple of streets away and a season ticket for me is £60 or £4 per game.club policy is to recruit 23 and under so no over paid over the hill players.

Radz will have sold all his shares once the deal is ratified by the EFL.

The point I was making was if all these smaller investors such as NBA & Golf stars etc have bought in at 1, 2, 3 or 4% then that could add up to 30 or 40% of the total shares meaning the 49ers won't have invested as heavily as some people think to take control.

The problem with expensive players going out on loan is how do we make new permanent signings and budget wages for them. Loaning out Llorente and Kristensen, you risk them being returned in 12 months. You just can’t budget for next season knowing those players might return
You use the loan market like Forest did to get promoted. Then if we go up we get permanent signings and can afford to offload them.

Wakey FC are a mile off getting where they purport to want to be and actually I've been to a couple of games but won't be going again. Still I wish them luck and at least they're trying to give it a go.

Owned by an American Company I believe ?

Add to that when Ricky fowler was asked about it two weeks ago he said he hoped himself and two others would be investing but even if they didn’t they’d be following Leeds results. So up to that point thise three had put nothing in
