    Good morning to you all
I must admit am begining to Warm to Farke, I am just guessing, but Norwich to me havn't the funds to sustain a premier league survival challenge. However we have, but it's just not down to cash, as we all know to well, but how it's spent, so with the right head coach such as Farke over seeing the hiring we would be in a lot better place.
n.b, finally given up all hope on Potter & a resounding no to Vierra, as seems as disruptive as some players can be, so can't see that working at all, also a worry that Woy got palace playing much better football, and stabilised the club much better than Vierra ever did.

Let’s just worry about getting promotion first before worrying about Premier League survival <laugh> <whistle>

Wonder what we get left with and hoping for some top additions, because we could be left with even fewer of this lot

    Defenders
    • Ayling, Drameh, Cooper, Wober, Kristensen, Hjelde, Cresswell
    Midfielders
    • James, Gnonto, Sinisterra, Gyabi, Gray, Perkins, Dallas
    Forwards
    • Georginio, Gelhardt, Joseph
    Keeper
    • Klaessen
    • Van Den Hueval

Same here, I now find myself wanting Farke out of those who we have been linked too. I don't know if that is more out of desperation to just get it sorted and a fear it might be Vieira or not.

One thing I did like, he wants to know the structure is in place behind the scenes, it has been said he has a large backroom team and he wants to ensure that everything is in place that he needs. A bit Bielsa like, he obviously wants to succeed and he is not jumping in with two feet for a quick pay day

My thoughts too, run a year down on his contract, get another year older and what will his value be next season when he refuses to return and we strike up a similar deal, they've basically signed him for free. First impression of the new interim DoF is not great based on this

Agreed I’d prefer Farke but wouldn’t worry too much if it was Viera as he’s one of the new generation of coaches such as Arteta, Kompany, Gerrard, Lampard etc and out of those he’s probably one of the better ones.

Sacked from mid table after having what was generally perceived as an excellent first season at Palace so far too early to write him off.

If all this is true, and i don't doubt it for a minute, then what are we waiting for? ,get him in asap for christ sake, as he is a far superior choice to Vierra and any of the others associated with the position.

Jammy it’s the hints at the issues behind the scenes. Jordan without saying anything said he would be worried about employing him. I heard stories myself that Parish had paid someone on the coaching staff to give him daily reports. This then caused even more ruptions and a falling out between head coach and Owner. Funny how boring Woy got a tune out of Viera players…… Viera couldn’t get anything out of them

Why would the owner be spying on his head coach. I’d prefer the coach to speak his mind in this situation rather than be a “yes man” aka Jesse Marsch.

But agree, Simon Jordan did seem to hint at a fall out with the players. Could never happen with our lot of course, they’d stick with their manager though thick and thin <whistle>

I suspect the 49’ers would have been aware of the likely delay the EFL approval would take. I’d like to think they chose to use that time wisely in choosing a new coach/ manager. They may have already made the decision but there’s bugger all (officially) they can do until the EFL consent to the takeover.

As frustrating as this is for us, some trading in players appear to be happening (Roberts/Llorente), so I’m guessing we’ll find out soon enough. Hopefully before the 2nd July when some players return to training, but definitely when the remainder return on the 9th.

I would like to think the majority would like to redress the garbage we were sometimes served last year. However players don’t normally have relegation clauses inserted for the fun of it. I don’t expect many will want to stay, I’d like us to play hardball with those that want to go. If we want rid and they’re in demand, hold them to their contracts until we get the money we want. If we don’t want em to go, refuse and do a Brighton (Caicedo, was it?). In the hope they will get us promoted, and then see out their contracts with us.
