Going down would be a disaster imo, I'm not one to think it would take 16 yrs again because we're not in a bad a condition as then but there's no guarantee we'd do a Burnley either.
Players are told by top international managers they need to be playing in the top.leagues in the world if they are to be thought of as representing their countries. So the likes of Gnonto, Sinisterra Wober Adams would be gone Koch won't sign a new contract so would most likely be gone too, Harrison's new contract apparentlyhad a relegationrelease clause in it too. What's that leave us with, pretty much the squad we came up with plus a few **** additions and untried kids but no Bielsa to get the best out of them. Meslier and Rutter would go too but neither of those would be a great loss , problem being we'd get a lot less of the market value for any of those players. Not exactly the Leicester model

There is a core to build around next season if we can survive.

Wober
Adams
Summerville
Gnonto
Harrison
Sinisterra
Rodrigo
Cresswell (maybe)

It might not seem many but those listed are all top quality.

Cresswell looks a great prospect but I don't see him as PL ready for a couple of seasons yet, he's been in and out at Millwall too, personally I think he needs another year in the Championship

Looking at our defence this last few weeks I would have played Drameh ahead of Ayling and Kristensen and Cresswell ahead of Cooper

Think you're probably right, however given Koch's lack of pace, along with the turning circle of a supertanker then the argument Cresswell couldn't be any worse stands up.

Wober seems sound enough so ideally we need to sign a right sided centre back with pace to partner him.

Coopers not been playing though Doc. I think we need to play him today, he's the only leader we have in the squad, and we're really lacking a leader out there

You can't play players who we've sent out on loan.

Cresswell
Drameh
Dan James

All needed this season...the arrogance of our club is astounding at times.

Spit and many other media types can all see we are poor at the back, yet we have given Ayling,Struijk and offered Koch extended contracts, so unless they think they can sell for more then why do it, unless that its also preparation for going down because championship is their level

We desperately need to stay in the PL and bring youngsters like Cresswell through. The notion that us dropping down a league will in some way be beneficial to their development is total nonsense as it's the club as a whole that matters and not individual players.

The other thing is that if we stay in the PL the team/squad will slowly improve, it just takes time and patience to catch up with the Brighton's of this world.

Unless of course MB was in charge eh Jammy, then you would be happy for us to play in the North West counties U9's league :emoticon-0105-wink:

Agreeing ?

Never wanted him sacked and couldn't care less if he'd taken us down as the great man gave us far more than just a football team.

Or of course if we have rich owners

To be honest I'm fairly relaxed about going down.

The reason being at least this time we have owners in Radz & the 49ers who'll make sure we have right good go at coming straight back up <ok>

Life is an emotional rollercoaster for sure <laugh>

You would prefer that to what exactly as you make it sound like you'd welcome relegation ?

Also don't forget Drameh can't wait to get away from Leeds anyway so is probably one the most disloyal players we have at the club. It's always been all about him and his career and he couldn't care less about the club or his team mates.
As to opposed to a third season of this crap

It's going to take time that's all Eire and going back to square one won't help as we'll soon all be absolutely fed up of finishing 13th in the Championship every year.

Or have you forgotten Chesh and Glory used to have a top half/bottom/half bet every season ?

We cant string passes together, McKennie looks uninterested which makes our 2DM pivot a waste of time. We dont press unlike every team we play so struggle to turn the ball over unlike the opposition who manage to get it back from us with ease. Fulham have too much space in midfield. Sorry but Gracia isn’t doing anything

Ok we learned a few things today so what we can we do for Tuesday to get the best performance from our squad ?

Ok for me Wober is no left back but still must play. Koch does my head in and has done for months as he's woeful in possession but can we leave him out and play 2 left footers as centre backs ?

Gnonto, Summerville & Sinisterra all must start.

McKennie and Aaronson need to be left out.

Forshaw could actually be our saviour.

And why shouldn’t it be?
