Another observation given our lack of midfield options currently and that is why was Klich jettisoned in January with our situation so precarious ? So another to add to the list of players who we've let leave after the season started. Klich Llorente Dan James Joffy Cresswell Drameh Klich, Dan James and Joffy were always 100% commited in every game and we could do with more of their type at the moment. In fact as mentioned before Joffy's vital goals and assists went a very long way to keeping us up last year.
So if we go down I'm not sure I can be arsed going to a load of midweek ****y Championship matches, especially when it's fooking freezing in winter. Also the Saturday lunch time KO's can fook off as well. Don't like Sundays either but to be fair there aren't many of those. That leaves just the Satuday 3pm and 5-30pm plus the odd Friday night. Maybe my time is done and it's time to stand aside and let some of the younger blood have all those lovely matchday tickets. Anyway it feels like next season will be my last and then it's full Victor Meldrew syndrome on here with you lot.
Don’t worry bud. Wakey and myself will get you a ticket in the east and you can see what it’s like to mingle with the riff raff
When the pundits talk about this season at Leeds will there be any heros, will there be anyone who you can say did his best? Meslier is finished at the club, maybe only Wober stands up to scrutiny but only been here a few months. Nobody from midfield can be proud and in my view only Rodrigo and Gnonto have added anything this season. Our problem has been that these two haven’t played enough, but without them we would have been gone already. The whole board is now toxic The fans as usual have done great
You will need a new wardrobe. Us plebs wear Leeds gear from decades ago, chew tobacco and most wear ill fitting wigs. Wouldn’t like you to stick out too much. Also a help if you smuggle your own drink and food into ground
Meslier has gone last few games. Put Robles in. Do we have any other choice? Thought the back 4 were better organised yesterday. Koch was poor at times and Kristensen switches off too much but Cooper and Wober held that unit together much better than it has looked recently. Midfield is too gung ho. We have 2 pivots that both try and get forward at the same time. Tell Forshaw to do a David Batty job vs Leicester. Just sit in front of the back 4 and protect, destroy and give it to others who can play. Do not go forward and join attacks. In front of him play 2 of Greenwood, Roca, McKennie as box to box midfielders with only one allowed to go attacking at a time. The other has to sit a bit deeper to stop the break. Out wide we need pace and trickery coupled with a desire to help the full back, especially on the right hand side. For me that's Harrison. On the left we need a bit of magic so Sinisterra gets the nod from me. I think Rodrigo has to start up top. The teamtalk should pretty much be that we have 5 subs so run your blood to water. Don't be afraid to say you're ****ed and need to come off. It's almost a necessity at this point. If you don't track back then you're immediately coming off. The wingers should be told that they have to take on the full back EVERY TIME or you'll be replaced. None of this passing it backwards. Head down and take him on every time. And in and around the box, shoot on sight. Don't try the delicate pass just hit it hard and low and follow it in. It's real basic stuff but we just don't do any of it.
Just my opinion but since Bielsa was sacked the fans have been disillusioned and going through the motions. Much like the players it must be said.
Fans have been ****. Turned on the board, turned on Orta, booed the players during the game, turned on the manager(s) and left the ground early. They've even fought amongst themselves. I was at Accrington and even when we were winning the fans were taking the piss out of their own players. It wasn't a great atmosphere at all. It was shocking as it was my first away game for probably 10 - 12 years and its not what I would call support. I'm not attaching any blame to the fans but they certainly have not helped.
Maybe but the fans at ER were still 100% behind Bielsa even when getting humped. Never seen or experienced that before to be honest.
Well, I went out and got absolutely ****in pissed out of my head last night to numb the pain, woke up this morning with a headache and the realisation that we're well and truly ****ed, gonna go out again and do it all again because the gutless ****ers spoilt my weekend again Morning fellow sufferers BRING BACK BIELSA all is forgiven
Exactly my sentiment in 2010....after 40 years of up and down motorways and several jaunts overseas I called time and never set foot inside since, I've been over the Pennines just once since to gaze upon my little stone on bremner square and that's it, no one of my old group goes anymore neither apart from the odd game here and there.....the game isn't the same for me,that might be just me reminiscing but I'm not going to apologise for that, I'll stick to the box and sofa today's bunch aren't worth the effort to spend money and time on, I think Heidi and the others are testing their sanity to still do what they do ....it will always be ingrained into my DNA but the head said stop and for once I listened....ALAW/MOT
Don't forget to tell him not to wear any of his fancy designer gear or i fear he would be going home naked.
Why not get some practise in ahead of next season. All you have to do is approach each game with a good dose of reality. When you expect to lose and accept relegation it does not upset at all.
