Well the sports media are agreed on one thing and that Bamford was terrible. Feel for him but Marsch has made Bamford his main focus in attack and Bamford isn’t fit, shot confidence and letting Marsch and himself down. Marsch really needs to bite the bullet and drop him until he feels Bamford has got his mojo back. He may have play in the reserves to do that and play full games to get his fitness back too. Marsch can then use Rodrigo, Joffy and Gnonto instead of always shoe-horning Bamford in when he doesn’t deserve to be in

Media also not liking Harrison’s performance and for me despite his stats he needs a rest. Sinisterra on the left and Summerville down the right needs to be looked at?

It’s not hard to see why Harrison came in for some criticism when you look at his match stats on SofaScore. The winger gave the ball away 19 times, completed just 71% of his passes, failed with four attempted dribbles, didn’t find a teammate with two attempted crosses and lost all 11 of his attempted duels.

After a display like that, it’s little wonder he was subbed off after 72 minutes – in fact, it’s somewhat of a surprise that he even lasted that long on the pitch.

In the end, manager Marsch played his cards just right as he kept the other Leeds winger in Summerville on the pitch long enough to see the Dutchman score the winning goal and secure a huge win for the Whites, who now move out of the relegation zone.

Harrison was probably the worst player on the pitch vs Fulham, yesterday he returned the following stats:

The winger gave the ball away 19 times, completed just 71% of his passes, failed with four attempted dribbles, didn’t find a teammate with two attempted crosses and lost all 11 of his attempted duels.

This is the kind of thing I find infuriating, either drop him or play him in his correct position, this is just like Dan James being played as a striker.

Pablo hernanandez pass % was usually in the 70’s in fact it’s pretty normal for wingers. It’s nothing like a full back like Rasmus ( who was great yesterday, apart from the goal) having 50% against Leicester.

success rate of crosses is always low. It wasn’t jack’s best game yesterday but he got into some very dangerous positions - maybe that was because of the set up.

But hey guys, we know one swallow doesn’t make a summer… but everyone else seems to be celebrating a great performance and rare win at anfield…

Had a text from a Pool fan I know last night.
'You deserved that mate, I know we're **** at the moment but I thought we'd have enough to beat you tbh. If you got rid of Cooper, Harrison and Bamford you'd be mid table and look safe , they're easily your worse players and all are a liability.

Harrison has obviously had his role changed by Marsch and it’s impacted his performances. He usually scores goals for us but only scored 1 so far this season, but has 3 assists. When you are struggling for goals nullifying one of your weapons should be looked at. First season in the Prem Harrison scored 8 league goals and last season in a poor team he again chipped in with 8 league goals. He usually only gets 1 or 2 yellow cards in a season but has already got 2 yellows in 12 games. So looking like he will either get a red before long or reach 5 yellows for a suspension. He like Rodrigo also doesn’t look happy. You could see the joy in the camp yesterday but Rodders face when subbed and Harrison’s shows frustration

Would be interesting to see Harrisons running stats.

First half Harrison was good. He moved inside and worked hard allowing the room for Kristensen to provide width. He had a good chance where Allison saved and he also cut inside and was unlucky with a curled effort. On the other side Alexander Arnold pushed Summerville back and he couldn't really add to the counter attacks.

2nd half Marsch switched them and put Harrison on Alexander Arnold to try and quieten his influence on the game which worked imo. He was definitely quieter. That allowed Summerville more freedom against Robertson which ultimately led to the winner.

Basically Summerville sacrificed his first half and Harrison sacrificed his second half in order to nullify (or attempt to) the threat of TAA. Harrison did it alot better than Summerville. Was a good switch and Jack just had to take one for the team. Good on him.

I’m coming round to the idea of maybe selling Harrison in January if it meant getting a proper striker in. Big if of course but it would mean possibly removing two under performers from the team. Bamford being the other. Important we’d buy the striker first

This is where Orta has to prove his worth. January isn't the greatest time to buy and there are no obvious candidates available that are available to improve the team. He needs to find a loan at least.
Che Adams isn't the answer and on the few occasions I've seen him neither is Pulisic. Moore took his goals well yesterday but no idea about how good he is consistently, my lad said when he hit the one, why can't Bamford do that, just hit it first time without thinking about it

Brereton Diaz is your man in January. Get him from Blackburn.

6 months left on his contract - can’t see anyone doing that. Think if Blackburn were midtable he’d definitely go - but if they harbour hopes of promotion they might still play hardball.
