Makes you wonder, if Gilesy could see these problems from the word go, why did the muppets employ him
The thoughts of Connor McGilligan below, but in my view they are talking transfers simply because it makes no difference who the manager is we need a striker and a LB…. And McGilligan finds it odd that the two are talking about transfers with each other, despite the fact that the presenter feels that it’s highly likely Marsch will get sacked before the November break for the World Cup. (08:56) “Jesse and Victor [Orta] and whoever it is now. I don’t even know who it is now, it might as well be Tom and Jerry talking about transfers,” McGilligan said onThursday’s upload. “Now the transfers bit irks me a little bit because that’s a bit unusual. Is Victor Orta just speaking to Jesse as a bit of a soundboard because we know that if he loses his next game, he should be gone anyway, but if he loses his next game he’ll be gone, then lose to Bournemouth he’ll be gone.
McGilligan is another big Leeds fan journo from the Manchester Evening News. Lots of podcast guesting and broadcasting one of the so-called ITK guys who usually beats Smyth and Hay to real news, but then most of us do
Aha cheers Doc, never heard of him, although I see on the M.E.N site he is listed as social media producer as opposed to a journalist, but appreciate the response
Sounds good to me. What i do not get is Rads is meant to be such an astute business man. Yet he allows Orta to waste the first seasons money on kids who never made it. Then he had to pump some of his own money in to keep us going (loan paid back?). Then he lets him issue 3/4 year contracts to championship standard players we are now stuck with. Roberts is a prime example of a waste of wages and we will surely make a loss. Next up is the fat kev fiasco which i am sure we knew was a, watertight contract. All rads has been doing is playing for time to pay and hoping for a reduced fee. He deserves to be held to account and if Marsch goes on results then so should Orta.
