It was a pathetic decision in the first place. Even the royalists say she was all about duty and carrying on, so why stop all of football? So football can be played again from tomoz, but our game is still off!
Seems odd, but at least we all stay on the same number of games played and don't get into the games in hand malarky we had last season. So football can be played again from tomoz, but our game is still off!
Had it been all sport I could have seen the reasoning but to just pick out football seems odd. All sport continued as normal here and, as has been said elsewhere, the minute silence tribute enabled those gathered at the game to express their respects. It was a pathetic decision in the first place. So was it because Prince William is the president of the FA then?Football wasn't picked out the fa made its own decision to stop the fixtures.
They were worried football fans wouldn’t all show proper respect so better to call it off. Awful b******tSo was it because Prince William is the president of the FA then?
To be fair there were a few Rugby League supporters at the game in Sydney yesterday that were disrespectful but at the AFL games supporters were greatThey were worried football fans wouldn’t all show proper respect so better to call it off. Awful b******t
But when football eventually returns they’re still going to have tributes and the risk of disrespectful fans will still be there. PointlessTo be fair there were a few Rugby League supporters at the game in Sydney yesterday that were disrespectful but at the AFL games supporters were great
Exactly, for example what happens to the Chelsea v Liverpool match that is scheduled to take place on the 19th Sept? But when football eventually returns they’re still going to have tributes and the risk of disrespectful fans will still be there. Pointless

It’s difficult, if like me you’re not in “ mourning” let alone for 12 days then it’s a pain in the arse to pretend you are just to be “respectful” which those that want to insist everyone should act like them. So don’t be disruptive (rather than disrespectful). Stay in the bar, have a beer, let those that want to fuss over someone who they didn’t know and didn’t know they even existed, then go watch the game. That way all are happy. Obviously that’s not allowed anymore, follow the masses.

Maybe football clubs are not the best qualified to give financial advice.Own goal: what happened when football clubs urged their fans to buy crypto
Supporters were told that buying tokens would help their team — but the assets have bombed
Ours have done the same due to the death of the Queen but have scheduled additional sittings to make up for lost time. They are then conflicted with the funeral for the PM of Japan but it's only the PM and Foreign Minister who have to go, so all can continue with their deputies acting.Disrespecting football fans? How about our Mps disrespecting us all. They have been in recess for weeks while the tories sorted a new leader, they come back and due to the Queen decide to go into recess for another couple of weeks. You would think at a time like this these self serving twats should be back and sorting out the energy crisis.
