I think 75k a week is affordable, we’d offered KP a huge rise, we sold Raphinha, the wages are there for a marquee signing.

I personally feel he’s head and shoulders above Bamford and compared to out of position James it’s a no brainer.

I’m not a huge fan, I’m just being realistic, our chances seem to be an outside chance of Watkins or Che Adams or Bereton Diaz.

I’ve no idea what funds we have but we need a striker, I’d still jump at the chance of Watkins if he really is available, he’d fit in perfect up front. We have to be realistic in who we could tempt, if we have £30m available part of me feels sell Harrison or James and spend £60m on a striker. Truth is we can’t attract one in that bracket.

Sell James as once again he failed when through on goal.

I agree, for the last 4 seasons Orta hasn’t done a thing, it’s just go out and sign whoever Bielsa and Jesse want. They’ve been fully backed so it beggars the question why have we a director of football.

Kinnear was brought in I felt for the buying back of the ground and I thought we’d see a new stadium being eventually built. When Radz admitted to not having a clue about running a club I thought Kinnear was a good choice for the board

That requires a certain level of scouting ability. Far easier to leave fans discussing big name signings that’ll never happen. Come September then we’ll be saying joffy is like a new signing cos he signed a new contract

There isn’t a single striker in the Championship who is worth signing, I can’t even think of one who is better than Joffy. Even Tyler Roberts will end up being in the top 5 this season.

Maybe not but we’re not seemingly able to attract the top ones we’ve tried to sign so far
