I am going to be a huge nobber here but I have a feeling Alberth Elisis the chosen striker. For me its him after what I have heard and read, and the way hes keeping a low profile. That's why I asked, because I knew I had read somewhere that Bordeaux were going to exercise the purchase agreement, so it seemed strange that we were looking to sign him. Whilst I knew they had been relegated, hadn't realised they were just looking to make a quick profit by selling him on.
Read yesterday, ESPN quoted as saying there have been no inquiries for him and could well stay at New York for the remainder of the season.
Very similar to Noa Lang last season. Ajax banish him on loan into Belgium with the new Man Utd manager tearing him a new one. There is an agreement to purchase at €7m which they take up and then put a for sale sign on him for €30m. Orta walked away then. So Club Brugge now have a €35m price tag on him for this summer
