They reported that Frankel had been retired on Saturday but i just saw him win the first at Newmarket.
 
If you haven;t purchased today's Racing Post, I would highly recommend it for the Frankel Souvenir Pull-out. It has some lovely interviews with the team at Warren Place, including my friend!

I was wrong about Golden Chieftain though - sounds like he won with plenty in hand. I wonder if he will be aimed at the paddy Power Gold Cup? Won today off 127, I would think he'd go up to at least 135.
