Are you hinting at Ffos Las?!? How very dare you, sir. No, it's English. I've thought of a not obvious clue. It's usually referred to as one word but is, on occasion, referred to in its title as a 2 word racecourse.

Think far more Northern and think Stamford, London and Golden Gate.

although EBONY GALE has two Fs in his formbook, that hardly tells the whole story,as 1) he was firmly in contention when he fell last time out,and 2)some of his rivals have upheld the form afterwards,so this looks a good bit easier, and he should go well today..

Is the correct answer. Seems a bit harsh on Catterick to me.

Yes, no idea what the decision criteria were, but "staging class 6 all-weather handicaps" would equate to the equine version of Old Kent Road for this regular reader.

Some changes to the Cheltenham Festival format after the review of the 6 fatalaties during the 2018 festiival:

    - Jockeys in the Martin Pipe Conditionals Hurdle will no longer be able to claim their allowance
    - Max field size reduced from 24 to 20 for all 2 mile chases
    - Pre-race veterinary examinations for all runners at the festival

All sensible moves but in the blood and thunder of the festival fatalities can and will happen.

i dont know,if this opening mark is fair for ANNIE BONNY,but she at least did contest some tough novice hurdles lately, and this looks a bit easier today.so,on her first foray into handicaps, can go well..

MY LIEGE has only been seen very sparingly in recent seasons,so must have had enough problems, but can make up for lost time now,as his bumper win 3 years ago does look a lot better now.he also shaped with some promise on his last start,so if all is well today, can go well..

    Kempton 5.15 Deal A Dollar 25/1 many.

Stoute horse, said to be working well at home and with possible future star jock on board.

Certainly worth at least a modest e/w punt.

Close second at 25/1 behind the odds-on fav. Front two well clear of remainder.

Not bad at all for a first run from this son of Frankel. There'll be a lot more to come.

You will have made a lot more than if you backed the fav. 4 points profit, well pleased with that.:emoticon-0169-dance
