They have a day less to prepare so it really should be an away win.

Why do I get a feeling it won’t be?

Strange that this season I'm more confident of bagging 3 points on the road then I am at home. But if ever we needed a typically untypical City performance this is the one, no charity gifting points to those clubs suffering, go for the throat, squeeze it tight and don't let go til the final whistle.

Im pretty sure everyone os more confident we win away over at home.... I dont know what it is, but some serious thinking re supporter positioning, an exorcism or something else has to be done...

Hasn't that been the case for a few years now? My kids only go to home games and are getting a complexion over the number of wins they've seen.

Tbf I think this season its highlighted even more due to the excellent away form, but I get what your saying about our home form being shyte for a few seasons now

Not even just the lack of wins but the number of defeats. Getting beat at home and watching away fans celebrate stings and it used to be relatively rare but it's happened so much over the last few years. It started when Grant McCann was manager and bar a couple of spells like the start of this season and Rosenior's first 6 months or so, home defeats have been a regular thing ever since.

We've lost 7 at home this season.

Coventry 1, Ipswich 1, Millwall 5, Boro 2 and Wrexham 5.

This also highlights just how good our away form (and wins - 10!) has been.
We're joint top of the away league table, having played 1 game less than Boro.

We beat Wrexham at home? We lost to them away in the cup though.

I mentioned recently that many of us believe we wouldn't have won the L1 title had fans been allowed in the grounds. As you say, the poor home form started around the beginning of McCann's reign but I'm pretty sure our home results compared with aways during that L1 season were an anomaly. Any stattos in?

Even in the 23/24 season we had crappy home form, especially in the second half of the season. We lost and drew too many games we should’ve been winning. 24/25 was just a joke in terms of watching City at home. Last season really was miserable.
