At the end of the day, the referee shouldn't be the talking point for why we haven't won this game.

We are up against a poor WBA side who haven't won since August, struggling for goals and are lacking in confidence.

It was a massive chance to take advantage of that and end the year on a high, yet our performance today has been horrific. We almost got a get-out-of-jail card with the deflected free-kick. However, we can't keep relying on the likes of Sanchez to bail us out, especially as he could be leaving us very shortly.

This was all our own doing. Wenger only has himself to blame.
