Not sure how long "a while" should be TOB, but certainly far too late to do anything this season - and I personally wouldn't anyway.

If we're in with a chance of staying up with half a dozen games to go, I can think of no better manager that we could possibly attract who I'd prefer to see it out. Now our group of players is set until May, there is no one who'd get more from them than Warnock.

Next season? Well let's just see where we are in the summer and the decision may be his own.

I think yesterday answered the question, every player put in a shift for Sala, Warnock & the club. There is no reason why we can't get the points needed to stay up.

@Temple of Blue. Please do not think I want NW to retire. I hope he continues for many years yet, although the sands of time wait for no man. I still believe he can keep us in the premier league, however, I think we need to be on the look out for a possible succesor.

I think that potential successor whenever that might happen will very much depend upon which League we're in at the time.

@Sparky. Indeed it will. Bellamy was being seen as the successor to NW but, as you pointed out in an earlier message, he may well not be in the running giving the allegations of bullying. Whether he's found guilty or not, mud sticks and he may struggle to may the next step in the near future.
Do we have any recent legends who are dipping their toe into the managerial waters? Kavanagh, McNaughton, Purse, etc, etc...

Hudson was caretaker at Huddersfield just recently.

In truth, I can't think of any ex-City players that have gone on to a decent managerial career at any level.

Kav had a spell at Carlisle from memory.

No chance. Wouldn't pi$$ on him if he was on fire.

I think Hudson is the only ex player currently in any UK managerial role - unless Huddersfield's new manager has sacked him.

Spencer Prior is manager of the Thailand ladies team. That's a tough gig. How can you tell lady from lady boy? No tuckunders, balls or Adam's apples allowed. <yikes>

It's a job isn't it. Could have some benefits if selected carefully.

    Good on Neil.

Whatever happens I believe he must continue to lead us through this season.

Me too, we owe him that and a bit more. You can't disagree that he's put 10,000 on the gate and will go down as one of our best managers if not the best.

I honestly feel if we'd had a tonking at Arsenal and then got stuffed at home by Bournemeouth, we might have heard a different response from him.

As it is - respect for what he's done for the club up till now and full support for the next 13 games - 13 points might just do it. <ok>

I don't want to start a new thread - which will probably lead us back to this thread anyway but our club/people are being bashed with a new stick on twitter ...anyone have any news or interpretations on this ?

'Neil Warnock’s son James under scrutiny as #Cardiff accused of breaching FA’s agent regulations. There are at least seven players linked to Warnock’s agency on Cardiff’s books.'

    ps
I don't want to drag any old bgr into this but it's mainly leeds fans calling for us to get a 10 point deduction

    SPLITTER !

Just found a very small mention in Sky Sports Paper Talk. Article from The Times. Talks about investigation. Nothing more
