If Allsop did not have hands make out of kit kats...we 100% would have made the playoffs.
And still lost in them so who ****ing cares.

Thanks for the response at least.
I don't agree though.
I'm not obsessing over anything, I'm looking at facts, hard data. And last season + this is not historic.
Goal records aren't the be all and end all, especially in cases like a special developing talent like say Delap. But they can give insight and often provide very big clues - that is exactly the case in our current situation - we are absolutely seeing in practice what the goal records of our squad shows - plenty of possession but failure to score anywhere near enough (even more so when Walterball <ha ha> depends on it).
We just aren't scoring enough .... and that is exactly what the hard data says will likely happen. We simply don't have goals in our make up, right across the squad, which is utterly ridiculous given the number of incomings & outgoings.
Pedro has come up with a couple of nice finishes tbf. He's also missed a lot, including what we'd class as sitters, and he's failed to get on the end of a fair few decent crosses and / or not got into the right place to finish from promises attacks. That's is exactly what we should logically expect, it's what his record over the past 3 years says he will do - fail to score all but a small handful a season.
To expect to see anything else from this squad, other than the occasional exception to the norm game, is delusional (for us as fans, for Walter, for Acun & his brain team). Now the veil is lifted (i.e. realising we now have starting 11's likely to manage around 30 a season, with no special emerging talents like a Delap), I simply can't understand how this has been allowed to happen.
I’m finding it hard to defend him based on the results but what do you expect with this team, change the manager but we’re still stuck with these players.
All keepers make mistakes and their position means that usually a mistake ends up in a goal, the issue is that's it's fashionable to criticise Allsop
It’s popular to criticise Allsop because he was ****ing ****.
Does anyone not believe that City would be better off with Steve Bruce? Two promotions with City aren't enough for you?We are currently on the 2nd longest winless run in the whole country, behind QPR (on 12 without a win)
Ex city bellend Steve Bruce is in third place also on 8 games without a win. He should have stayed retired.
Chat GPT was being too modest to suggest that it took over.Since our brain team is dead, I asked AI to take over and evaluate upcoming fixture, looks dreadful and asked what would happen a championship experienced manager takes over TW. A bit too optimistic.
Based on Hull City's current fixture list, I’ve assessed the most probable outcomes for their next 10 Championship matches, considering their recent form, opponent strength, and match locations. Here's a forecast:
This projection sees Hull earning 9 points from a possible 30, keeping them in a precarious position near the relegation zone. Improved offensive consistency and defensive cohesion will be crucial to alter this trajectory.
- Sheffield Wednesday (H, Nov 26): Draw - Evenly matched teams, and home advantage may help.
- Middlesbrough (A, Nov 30): Loss - A tough away game against a strong opponent.
- Blackburn Rovers (H, Dec 7): Draw - Blackburn's inconsistency gives Hull a chance.
- Watford (H, Dec 11): Win - Hull might edge out a victory due to Watford's away struggles.
- Coventry City (A, Dec 14): Loss - Coventry's home form should see them prevail.
- Swansea City (H, Dec 21): Win - A favorable home matchup.
- Preston North End (A, Dec 26): Loss - Preston's form at home is likely to dominate.
- Blackburn Rovers (A, Dec 29): Loss - Away against a team Hull struggles against.
- Middlesbrough (H, Jan 1): Draw - A tight game but Hull could hold them off at home.
- Leeds United (H, Jan 4): Loss - Leeds’ quality may be too much despite Hull’s home advantage.
If Hull City were to replace Tim Walter with a manager experienced in Championship survival battles, the forecast for the next 10 games could improve significantly. A solid manager with proven ability to stabilize struggling teams could bring tactical discipline and psychological resilience to the squad. Here’s how the outcomes might change under new management:
Total Points: 17 out of 30 (compared to 9 under the current scenario).
- Sheffield Wednesday (H): Win - A new-manager bounce and better organization could see Hull take all three points.
- Middlesbrough (A): Draw - Improved defensive solidity might secure a hard-earned point.
- Blackburn Rovers (H): Win - Hull could capitalize on home advantage against an inconsistent Blackburn.
- Watford (H): Win - Enhanced motivation under new leadership might give Hull the edge.
- Coventry City (A): Draw - A defensively disciplined display could frustrate Coventry.
- Swansea City (H): Win - Home momentum and solid tactics could lead to a vital victory.
- Preston North End (A): Draw - While still challenging, better team morale could secure a point.
- Blackburn Rovers (A): Draw - With renewed resilience, Hull might snatch a draw.
- Middlesbrough (H): Win - Improved home form could see Hull overcome a tough opponent.
- Leeds United (H): Draw - Solid defending and tactical sharpness might hold Leeds at bay.
This potential improvement assumes the new manager:
Managers like Neil Warnock, Sam Allardyce, or other specialists in Championship survival could significantly increase Hull's chances of staying up if they act quickly.
- Instills defensive discipline (reducing costly errors).
- Adjusts tactics to make the team harder to beat.
- Motivates players psychologically to perform in high-pressure situations.

I think what we need is to get
Barmby, deano and ash in charge, some passion
Get us away from relegation

I thought Barmby did a good job for us, I was disappointed when he got sacked. Probably been out the game too long now though.
100% right here Howden. The ship needs a steady hand at the wheel now. Experienced competent manager is the starting point to avoid a disaster this year. There is still January to sign a few players needed. Under this guy I think relegation is a real threat. No, no and no. We need experienced, proven and respected manager/coach at this level. None of those bring anything to the table
