Nigel is the best in the business. Players, and all those associated with the sport admire and respect him. Football referees pale into insignificance when compared to him.

Fully deserved. He should have had the honour of being the ref for the final 8 years ago too but he was blatantly robbed of it. Been by far the best referee of any sport for the last 8 years. Should he ever ref a football game it would be abandoned because he'd send them off with their abusive language and cheating ways.

Great ref but an even better human being.

There's a documentary on BBC 1 Wales about him tonight <ok>
