Merry the very fact that they even mention Nani name next to the likes of Theo WALLSHIT IS embarrassing. Nani plays for a better team and bigger team. He plays for a better international side and starts and is seen as one of Portugal main players and has pure skill. He is better at everything to do with football than Theo. He can dribble, he has flair, skill. He can shoot outside the box with either foot. He is creative and a better passer. There is no competition. Well Gooners can sit in their own little worlds but in reality we all know they are deluded.

It's a shame he is so ineffective in front of goal though. Pass, pass, pass, shoot, shoot, shoot, but no end product <ok>

Stretty who is not better than Gibson or Obertron? Its not something to be proud about but Theo lacks talent or skill. If he is lucky he could be as good as Bent

Yeah Nani's better imo and I gave reasons as to why the stats were skewed. That was without even mentioning that Theo got a hattrick against a 10 man Blackpool team in a 6 nil win. Walcott is a useful weapon though because one thing he has over Nani and almost everyone else is his pace and he is a decent finisher when he gets in the position in general, so is always liable to get you a goal.

Batmanu Lampard is more effective in front of goal than Zidane so does that make him better than Zidane? Don't answer that you will say Lampard is better <laugh> or is Lampard better than Xavi who hardly scores. Or is Theo better than Figo because he scores more on average than him <laugh>

Maybe if you watched football, you would see Nani shoots with his left foot which is his weaker foot most games and any person who watches Utd would know that. Also Nani plays out wide more so takes more shots outside the box. Actually nearly all his goals are outside the box anyway. Walcott plays more centrally and scores in the box like a poacher or a striker because he offers no threats on the wings as he has poor technical skill. But of course you would not know that. You base everything on stats.

In terms of league form Nani has 8 goals and 12 assists and Walcott has 7 goals and 5 assists. So we all can see who has been more effective here but a game is not based on who is most effective on paper but who contributes to games. If it was not players like Bent, walcott, lampard would be viewd higher than Figo, Xavi, Zidane.

Walcott is nearly 22, while Nani turned 24 some time ago.

So obviously you have to take the ages into consideration when making these comparisons. You've also got to take the fact that Walcott is always playing infront of the dependable Sagna, while Nani has to play infront of the inexperienced Rafael or the ageing Neville into account.

For me, Nani is having the better season, he's been pretty consistent since the game at the Emirates (I think?) where Rooney scored that great counter attacking goal which Nani created. Nani has the ability to change direction quickly, quicker feet, he's got a better sense of balance, he's more intelligent and he's more productive.

If you had to compare Walcott to someone from the ManUtd team, it would be Valencia, a decent winger, but if you can match the pace he's got he's pretty much useless. He isn't particularly creative, he can't change direction quickly a la Messi, for an agile guy Walcott has the turning speed of the QE2, I've never seen him change direction quickly like Messi or other top wingers do.

I'd have to agree with Alan Hansen, that Walcott doesn't have the footballing brain to be a truly great player, he'll still be a good asset for Arsenal, though.

Sczceny doesnt score because he decides to catch the ball with his hands rather than shooting thats why nani has scored more.
