That you’re getting the Coutinho money spent early? Yeah

Supposedly has nothing to do with Ford - we had £60m set aside in the summer. Ford will go in the summer, we know that . Makes no sense for us to let him go now. Hopefully PSG will get involved then - they pay real money without add-ons.

Lets hope he’s as good as the signings you made when you spent the Lukaku money like Sandro... oh wait, maybe Klassan... erm.. Keane? I’ll get to a good one in a minute, Pickford? Vlasic? Hmmm wait, Sigg and his free kicks!! Knew would find money well spent signing eventually.
Pickford and Keane poor signings? lol

You’re right, they’re only the 2 key new players in the joint 6th worse defence in the league. A defence 7 goals worse than the lfc defence which is worse in living Football memory* according to some!

*may be a slight exaggeration.
A defence that’s only conceded 3 goals in 8 games perhaps?

CB is the position that benefits the most from drilling and coaching.

Good deal. Overpriced imo but i thought salah was a good yet overpriced deal, and i've been proven half wrong there <laugh>

these days in football sometimes if you want it you got to pay the money, that's the way it is, regardless of whether the player ends up being a success or not, that's what the big boys do

If he can get himself back to how he played in the first half of last season then yeah, good signing. It's a lot of money for player that's only performed at that very high standard for a short period of time!

The big clubs of this world, Real, Barca, PSG, City, Bayern, whoever, all shell out that big money, of course for various reasons, status, resources etc, they have better damage protection if the player eventually flops and take less ****

Been all over the radio today that those kind of clubs will be in for Kane soon and it's the same scenario, he's been really good for a season and a half or more, but not consistently for several years that would warrant the kind of transfer fee being mooted, yet they'll still come in and put serious money down for him even though it's still something of a gamble

Guess we'll find out. Talking is done now, time to perform.

Just hope we sign a CM, DM or LB too. Just one of them will do for now.
