yes he does. nothing less is acceptable now.
Why is it? We shouldn’t even be in a title race given who we’re up against.

Far better teams than tonight's lost back to back CL games in Belgrade and Paris. They still did what they needed in the PL and got out of the group.
Tonight's game has nothing to do with Brighton. It was already as big a game as it ever could be, and I doubt the likes of Alisson and Van Dijk will be [HASHTAG]#worried[/HASHTAG] about how their performance will be affected by what a 4th choice lineup does against Wolves in the Wembley Mortgage Cup.
I respectfully disagree. Trophies need to come, yes. But now? No.
If people can't see the direction that we're heading then that's their problem. Not ours.
We are up against some of the richest teams on the planet who have invested in their squads for over a decade and have real strength in depth.
We have come from a team that was held together by an aging Gerrard and included several ill thought out signings that in themselves, held us back by a couple of years until we offloaded them.....we are still in this process!
We now have a first 11 that includes true world class talent, capable of challenging any team in the league and are proving that.
Fergy inherited his shower of sh*t and was allowed 6 years of winning nothing while he developed something special. Why would you not allow Klopp the same privelage, given the very obvious strides that we've taken against true wealth?

Because it's supposed to be entertaining for the fans. Competitions are supposed to make it more fun, not be the primary target.
The idea of collecting trophies with horrible football is a Mourinho-style mental illness.

Dont need a trophy. Would like one yes. Need one? No...
Over the last 3 years who has enjoyed watching their team more, lfc fans or united fans? United fans can celebrate a couple of trophies, so 2 very enjoyable days. Where as we’ve enjoyed 80% of the season playing the football we have without winning a trophy.
Comes down to the old question, what’s more ijnportabt to you, enjoying watching your team week in week out, or winning a trophy despite playing horrible football
ffs wishi.I would agree with that, if it weren't for the fact that all eyes are on Klopp: it's him who needs to win something. Two cup finals and nothing so far. We all know which rocky path it can lead to if the trend continues and for all those saying well we can concentrate on the league now, are they for real?! We don't have much of a choice now and if we **** that up...some of us have waited a long, long time. Plus we've won nothing for six years. It's not a great record and I don't apologise for being seriously pissed off. I wanted that cup this season. To go out so early second season in a row...
you've every right to disagree and your view is perfectly valid.
However.
gerrard irrelevant
Ferguson irrelevant
We picked a team and set up for an away game v prem opposition that had zero hope.

luckily 2 of them are off in summer frank.Let's be honest whether it happened now or in a fixture congestion when CL back on it was likely we were fielding a weakened team at some point.
We learned nothing new about some of our squad players. We learned that our kids (rightly) have a better attitude than our has beens/never weres
Imagine if VvD had played and picked up the injury and not Lovren. Imagine. Even losing Lovren hurts us (I know, crazy huh?)
Imagine that after 70 minutes, Salah, Mane or Firminho had pulled up injured. Didn't yesterday prove more than anything else that we cannot afford to lose these players?
Klopp unashamedly prioritised the league over the cup because of the above. I applaud him for it. what else could he do with the players at his disposal?
Nobody likes losing but in this instance, it has to be taken in context. The one thing that I regret is that we didn't draw a Rotherham Utd so that the team put out yesterday could progress.
Tbh with Moreno I just think the lad is thick as plank... he has enthusiasm but literally no talent or awareness ... he just chases towards the first thing he sees like a Labrador. Still shouldn't be anywhere near us though lol.luckily 2 of them are off in summer frank.
moreno and sturridge attitude ****ing stinks for what they get paid!!

Oh no he doesn't.yes he does. nothing less is acceptable now.
We can argue about the team selection and the squad depth till the cows come home.
What got me was that the senior players (previous first-teamers) on the pitch played abysmal and showed no leadership on and off the ball.
Yes, Klopp should take some flack for team selection as we were playing Wolves and not some third tier team. (Wolves aren't that bad).
