he's a bit deluded really saying the let is so anything. they need to acknowledge they were ripe for the picking and couldn't cope with the intensity. their midfield over the hill... there's no let there.

if anything we "let" them have a ridiculous lead in first game but they "let" us off hook at end.

It's made it all a bit unreal. The sense of detachment from the end of the season means it feels like a show-piece game rather than the culmination of a long and exciting campaign.
I can't even summon up much enthusiasm atm, though I expect that to change as it gets nearer.
