The shame is that there was quite a decent conversation going on before all the girly bitching kicked off.
I despair sometimes. We're all football fans on here, I think it would be rather nice if we actually discussed football now and again rather than resort to the usual silly name calling. It doesn't preclude banter of course, but we don't need this:

Anyway, I've had enough. I'm going off to watch clouds evaporate or something useful until they're all tired and go for a nap.

That's @Spurlock for you mate, he's a right dick :bandit:

Have you come across an arrogant Spurs fan on here, or are you wildly generalising? No arrogance on this thread (from us) so why not save your vitriol until you actually encounter some. For a Liverpool fan, you certainly have a firm fixed dislike of us, whereas most, in my experience really only think about Utd, City and Everton in that way. Usually hard pressed to get an opinion of us at all. You I take it are an all purpose hater?

I don't dislike Spurs as a club and up until recently they were actually one of my two favourite big London Clubs the other being Arsenal. I thought Arsene Wenger was a genius. I couldn't stand and still can't stand Chelsea. However what left a sour taste in my mouth was the Spurs media arse-licking. It's even more pathetic than the media arse-licking Man United get.

We have nitwits like Timwit, Jamie Redknob, Jermaine Penis, Spud Murphy bigging them up. It's cringeworthy. Arsenal who have a superior manager get lambasted on a regular basis. I actually now for that reason prefer Arsenal. They do not show the same level of arrogance which is largely misplaced that Spurs do. I also hope Arsenal crucify Chelsea in the Europa League final.

Couple of seasons ago perhaps but every time we've gone with 3 at the back this season it has been an unmitigated disaster. Sparing you the in-depth tactical analysis as you probably couldn't give a flying turd about our tactics but it boils down to our weakened CM since Dembele's departure and Wanyama's succumbing to injuries, combined with our RBs being utter ****e for an entire season. Danny Rose is near enough back to his best and would be effective in the WB role, but taking out an extra midfielder would allow you to overrun the centre and give your front 3 a buffet table of chances to feed off. It would also lead to whichever buffoon we start at RB (probably Trippier tbh, Aurier hasn't seen first team action in months now) getting caught out of position ever other minute. When we go with 4 at the back the FBs tend to be more disciplined and hold the line better, and we are able to press from the front with 3 AMs, with often one of Alli or Eriksen dropping deeper to support Winks and Goat when we're on the back foot. Which we will be a great deal against your front line.

I think the general consensus over on our board is to go with:

Hugo
Whoever Toby Jan Rose
Goat Winks/Dier
Lucas Eriksen Alli
Son

With Kane on the bench. Which means Kane will of course start and treat us all to his traditional "I've been rushed back too early" interpretation of 'man running through treacle'.

Playing 3 or 5 however you wanna look at it, at the back v us would be very risky. With our full backs getting forward and Salah mane coming inside it’s been difficult for opposition to contain. Seems to suit us really well when teams have lined up that way, possibly because the movement of front 3 is so good that no one really knows who to pick up.

Also, Goat? Is that referring to sissoko? Is he somewhat of a cult hero over there now or something?
