Really pleased with the pressing we did today. Mignolet saved our bacon, Sakho was immense, so good on the ball as well, Origi tried but doesn't read the game well and doesn't have that spark that we need upfront. Overall delighted that we looked so much more positive.

Sakho looks like bambi on ice but he brings the ball out and he passes to his midfield. doesn't hoof it or give it away

I thought Sakho gave a solid performance; Srktel was the usual Skrtel and should have been binned in the summer; Lallana was sloppy; Coutinho quiet (that worries me); Origi at least tried and as for Lallana <doh>

We seemed to win it in midfield, but at the front we were lacking for obbvious reasons and at the back we were still a bit on the dopey side

I'm quite happy, you're a bit grumpy, the defence was dopey, the forward, sleepy, and we're all a bit bashful because Sturride is sneezy, hurt his knee and has to see the doc,

As for Milner, what a waste of Monopoly money he was!

But all that is a hangover of the Rodgers era...

It's up to Klopp now and overall it was a good start. Clean sheet to match his clean teeth! <ok>

Early days yet wishi, Milner has a few goals in him as well, he's a good solid player but like Lucas needs to watch the bookings. I like that we have hard men in the team - it's very Liverpool<ok>

Milner is average and it's why he was nothing more than a squad player at City.

We definitely need better not January.

Not surprised by 0-0, sakho was great, skrtel was as usual, he has to go as soon as possible.
A win on Thursday is in the cards me thinks, possibly see a few of the kids on the bench today get some game time also, wouldn't like us to risk sturridge either.

So Klopp says Sturridge "felt a little pain in his knee" so didn't risk him. While sensible by manager given our striker situation is this more of Sturridge being a soft lad?

Can't remember who suggested it (Carragher?) That sturridge is quick to call himself unfit to play or injured.

Is he becoming a waste of space?
