Comprehensive 3-0 and 5-0 victories have been recorded in the previous two visits there, helping to forge a run of five successive league wins over Spurs home and away.
Lucas told Liverpoolfc.com: “We were in a good moment at the times we played there – we played with a lot of confidence and bravery, going there with a mentality to win the game.
“Of course, it’s always a tough game, but in the last couple of games we were good against them. Hopefully we keep that going and start this new chapter with a good win.
“Everyone wants to prove themselves. Of course, we’ll get better with many more games and understanding the way [the manager] wants us to play.
“But it gives you a lift, motivation and confidence as well. If we put everything together and play the way he wants us to play, I think we’ll be fine.”
