I thought that Van Dijk for Southampton had a really good game, was solid in the air.

Didnt think Can was bad? Passed it well, looked composed made couple good tackles in first half.

2nd half seemed to be shifted over to the left a bit more which I didn't suit him.

Can was alright but not great. I see that as a good thing as it shows the expectation of his performance is now higher.

I agree, thought he was MOTM myself, kept us ticking over and just won the ball back.

Noticed that his passing was much more forward today as well. A lot of times would be sidewards but far more positive today. If he had that bit of pace he'd could be top quality

Fair result so no complaints about that, our squad is so average it's embarrassing considering what we've spent.

Klopp has a great big steaming pile of ****e to sort out, I bet he thought he had better before he joined.

I really don't know what he'll do from here, he's certainly got a headache - and not the type you want as a manger.

The reality is we have about 15 players in our squad that simply aren't good enough, that's going take a **** load of time to sort out! I make it about 10 transfer windows <laugh>

I think a draw was the fair result in the end.

The game was played at a frantic pace but without any real cutting edge from either team.

It'll be interesting to see what Klopp does in January.
Apart from the Reus and Aubergine fella signings?........probs not much

He's getting back to his old self, it's a bit of a myth that he passes sideways. When fit he's top notch it's just a pity that a bad injury had stalled his career.

Reactions: Klopp's Mannschaft
Positive is that we're looking with each game. Benteke scored a bullet and gave us a presence, and Firmino looked good as well.

Get these two, Sturridge and Henderson and we'll no doubt get better.

I don't think the squad is that bad, it just lacks options. We are predictable so easy to play against. We need a couple more players that can make something happen and we need width!

When is hendo back?
Milner is out of the LC game so assume Allen will come in for him?

Interesting to to see what kind of team he puts out considering Chelsea at the weekend.

Lucas was good today and Firminho actually contributed when he came on so is improving. I still think Clyne is a bit iffy at times, Lallana is ineffective 80% of the time and Origi just can't play up front on his own. I think Benteke will start next game now that he has been eased in after his injury.

Can't see Sturridge playing this side of Xmas.

I'm finding it a chore to watch us at the moment, anyone else feeling the same?
