That team isn't strong, it has Origi in it. If he plays, he won't score and Coutinho will be useless and we won't win.

Expecting a strong squad tomos which is a little risky considering the horrible journey to and back, and only 3 days until Palace.

But it's understandable - we need to take this seriously. Winners get to go straight into the group stages. Huge incentive

We do have far too many off topic threads going most of the time. Problem is, I like those off topic threads too bar the Sisu ones of course :p

So do I. There's room for a bit of everything, imo. I just think it's a good thing to keep the topical footie threads where they're easily available for those who only want to use them.
Maybe someone will, sooner or later. <whistle>

Taking the travelling into account, it's probably the toughest game we face in the group. Just a pity we've muffed the so-called easier ones so far. (Nailed-on opening for a bit of Rodgers-bashing there, Jimmy. <ok> :))

Yep it is a shame but we still have the quality to win.

We're playing with a bit of confidence as wel now and I think away games are really better suited to us. Our best performances have come against Spurs and Chelsea - we'll have more space to attack.
