TBH Ronaldo was a guy LFC fans hated irrationally for playing for utd but MOSTLY his "cheating" came form incident with rooney sending off. the thing that really annoys most is his ego .
I think neymar is a no mark. he's a guy who fancies himself without backing it up. He's the next ronaldinho. He is more interested in his image whereas ronadlo is desperate to be the GOAT
Playing for Man Utd doesn't come into it for me. I appreciated players like Giggs, Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Rio, Tevez etc.
I don't even get that annoyed with cheating ****ers since we've had a few ourselves.
It's the attitude that I don't like.

Theres some who have a right go at giggs for example or called neville rat boy.. or hated evra or whatever.
And theres mancs who hated LFC players and would call them all the usual names while rooney was their hero (same insults apply)
What are the selection thoughts here, big game and rotating can be an issue. If we don't rotate here do we then make changes against Southampton?

my main thoughts on this
a) milner wont start maybe. klopp managed him last year. this game is very soon after saturday.
b) firmino imo will play. 100%

Playing for United doesn't help but not really it. I never hated RVN, or Rooney (I like making fun of Rooney though), or any other big Utd name.
Ronaldo just exudes sliminess, and as you say: arrogance, but for me its the underhanded cheating and poor sportsmanship that does it most for me. Neymar seems very much from the same mould... I really don't like him either.
There are lots of United players I like to make fun of. Keane and Ronaldo are the only two I really can't stand though. The others it's making fun of for the sake of making fun of rivals.
Joey Barton, Diouf, Zidane, Ramos, Drogba all belong in the same camp as Ronaldo and Keane, and they didn't play for United.
Edit... Oh and there's Fellaini. I think he's a dirty cheat too.

There cannot be much of a stretch saying that Napoli should win v red star.
If we lose we will be 3 points off the top 2 right off going away to napoli. In theory By end of that difficult away game we could be out of CL group nearly.... 6 points off both clubs with 4 to go.
My view would be don't lose... whatever else we do in any game DO NOT LOSE. tats how groups work no?
If we took 2 points from first two games and were going into the red star games like that I would be happy
