I am hoping that spurs are us under Rodgers we are city and that city have decided that they should concentrate on CL but I am usually wrong

I'm hoping it doesn't matter because we don't give teams a chance to catch or overtake

Well last couple weeks couldn’t have gone much better. Would have been nice for Everton to have had that kind of scoring form v spurs but what can you do.
Going into this new year period in very good form and we need to keep it up against arsenal and then City. Come out of that with 4 points would be very nice. Problem is Spurs have a nice home game v wolves and away game v Cardiff so should be getting 6 points there.
Time me to see what this liverpool team are made of now that we’re probably going to be favourites for the title.

Ceetainly a soft one. He put his hand on his shoulder as he went past him. Yeah Salah exaggerated it, certainly wouldn’t have made him fall like that, but stupid from the defender to put your hand on someone’s shoulder in the box after they’ve gone past you

Win 4-0 at a canter so able to give game time to "fringe" players in Studge and Clyne .Lovren showed he isn't just a World Class defender but CF as well
Mancs lose ,plus have a red card , and they must be getting a bit twitchy about their recent form.
Only fly in the ointment is Spurs who i still maintain have a much better squad than they are credited with.

while it looked incredibly theatrical i was surprised that the def didn't seem to complain much which made me wonder if the pull was harder than it looked .mind you that wouldn't be difficult .
Will be interesting what they say on MOTD as one of the regular pundits always sides with the striker.

Ridiculous penalty but could totally see why it was given Hand went up player went down
It’s a terrible virus in the game I really do not like it but it will never be irradicated

Not a soft one. It wasn’t a penalty (subject to seeing it not on a stream) Agree Dummett was stupid but for me not a foul, not a penalty and definitely a dive and cheating.
January is the litmus test. All the exertions from the festive fixture build-up wont take their toll until Jan.
If we are still top of the table come end of Jan, then perhaps I might just think there is a possibility that we could potentially challenge for the title. Maybe!

I totally empathise with your frustration - we have a poster who normally at this point goes it was a pen cause it was given (can’t remember who) and whilst they are technically correct it is very frustrating.
But Salah in particular has taken a right pummelling this season and not been given many pens for a lot worse than today
I think you were unlucky to have that given against you (first in 14 months) but we have had many not given that were - completely agree it was a dive and cheating

Cautiously optimistic for Arsenal, today's City result is amazing for us - means we can afford to drop points vs. them AND Arsenal (though I believe if anyone can get 6 points out of them, it's Klopp!)
Spurs in great form but they've got to keep it up for a while to match our pace. I think they'll hit a roadblock when they face some of the better sides in the second half of the season.
Fabinho was fab today. Don't think we can ask for anything more for Boxing Day, can we?

If a defender gives a slight tug and that allows another defender a half-step advantage to get a foot in then it is technically a foul.
However, I think it was ridiculously soft and Salah made a mug of the ref on that one. It's a malaise which has spread throughout the game and I won't condone it just because it's one of ours.
On the other hand, no-one can suggest that the game hinged on that, and you were never going to get anything out of it regardless.
The attitude was wrong from the start.
