Missing that creative spark from midfield. Last season, we had coutinho and then Ox.
this season we have VVD & Alisson to replace Coutinho and AOC was "dynamic" rather than what i think of as creative though agree we miss a spark from MF which was meant to be provided by Keita but unfortunately he has been a huge disappointment so far.

Yeah. That was ****ing appalling <doh>

But it had 0-0 written all over it well before kick-off.

We never apply ourselves in this fixture and show them too much bloody respect.

It'll never change.

I am so frustrated. The title should be at our mercy.

If we want to be champions we have to play with courage. We can’t expect things to land on our plate. We have to take some risks too. When you are being gifted 3 points you have to go all out to take them. Even if it means a chance of losing a point.

I still cannot believe that we couldn’t dispose of their team missing Matic, Herrera,Lingard,Martial and 50% Rashford. That’s half of their first team.

I agree with MITO. Bunch of cowards. They were full of nerves and they look like the pressure is getting to them. The worst one was Milner. He didn’t deliver a single good cross when he had countless opportunities. Those who say that next season we’ll be even stronger are living in cloud cuckoo land. This is THE season and all the stars seem aligned but we seem to want to **** it up.

I just remembered how sh!t we were in the game.

A new backup RB is needed in the summer, same for LB. Maybe we can get someone who provides cover for both.
Said it last summer and its even more evident now that we desperately need to sign another striker, not just back up to Firmino, but someone who will push him for a start.

Get Chamberlain back fit and Keita up to speed and our midfield looks a lot better

He is a very confident keeper and generally has good distribution, other than when under pressure he clearly doesn't favour the ball on some sides.

Agreed, I wouldn't change him. That doesn't mean he can't have a poor game either though

Alot to be shifted out, should free up money as well.

Sturridge, Origi, Lallana, Moreno and Mingolet all taking up wages and contributing next to nothing. I'd be willing to let Milner go this summer as well, but also to keep if he were not a starter.

Liverpool Games to go: Watford (h) Everton (a) Burnley (h) Fulham (a) Tottenham (h) Southampton (a) Chelsea (h) Cardiff (a) Huddersfield (h) Newcastle (a)Wolverhampton (h)

Manchester city Games to go: West Ham (h) Bournemouth (a) Watford (h) Fulham (a) Cardiff (h) Crystal Palace (a) Tottenham (h) Manchester united (a)

Burnley(a) Leicester (h) Brighton (a)

but we aren't going to get 5 good players on free transfers without paying them just as much.

doubt we have that much to spend in the summer.
some decent funds available apparently.

some might be made up from wages saved or player sales as well.

not sure how many decent players you can get for your money now days though <laugh>

hopefully save some on having wilson back though.

Owners (board or whatever) came out yesterday and said there was money to spend in the summer. And with Sturridge and Moreno already going there should be a fair amount to spend.
there will be money to spend but you have to prioritize so Migs for example will do but must get FB cover and a versatile forward to cover across the front 3 (for which Origi should be perfect <grr>) or a CF to rotate with Firm.
