I didn't assume anything pal, I was just responding to a poster who mentioned your title chances.

Yeah your 3 points off the lead after 4 games, if you carry on in that form you'll be near 30 points off the lead by the end.

I do actually believe we have a good chance of winning the league, but I do think we are lacking in defence a little. However I think there are big question marks about all the top sides, not just us. So we have a chance.

Liverpool just have far to many question marks though, even if your attack is outstanding.

But Utd haven't played anyone of note so far, so you're basing your hopes on the first 4 games because you've got no other pointers.

Did John Stones kick Mane in the face because Otamendi gave a booking away when he fouled Salah on the edge of the box? I mean if we're randomly connecting unrelated events together, then why not? Perhaps he's a Pisces and his rising moon is in Uranus?

Diego mate, you are having a float, fair enough but last season Ibra and Fellaini both got away with dangerous elbowing on occasions despite injuring the opposition, surely you can't pick and choose when it's okay to hurt an opponent due to who they play for.

:emoticon-0105-wink:
Never do mate, elbows tend to get caught when two players jump and I will admit when one is a foul.
If a defender had hit one of your strikers ankle/shin with a straight leg studs forward late challenge (late meaning he got there second in most cases) then you would be screaming Red Card from the rooftops.
It seems from some on here that the possibility of taking a players eye out with a stud can be exonerated by "he had his eye on the ball"

Wonder what he thought the big green thing was :bandit:

So Jesus' first header is offside, nice that we saw what they were trying and let them do exactly the same again almost immediately after <doh> shameful really

then for their next there's just absolutely no competition for the ball from the defence

goal after is just a well worked goal, and the next a great shot although no ****er bothers to close him down or put pressure on at all

absolutely abysmal

So for example when Ibra wasn't jumping for the ball but running alongside a Palace defender at Selhurst Park last season what reason or excuse did him or you have for him deliberately elbowing the Palace player in the face?

We had this conversation with Bod before - go on then, quote where anyone you're conversing with now 'exonerated' Mane on that basis? Perhaps if you actually read any of this thread before you got pissed you'd see that the majority of us on here said it was a pen.

The whole team just thought 'We're down to ten men -poor us, they're nothing we can do'. As said, compare that to the attitude of City a couple of weeks ago against Everton. That's why they're contenders and we're sadly not.

I had none, you will have to ask Zlatan for his because I don't think he gave one either <ok>

Who's exonerating Mane then Diego?, the question is was he entitled to go for the ball?

Yes he was, was his foot high yes, was it intentional no, was it dangerous play yes.

Can't see how that condones the keeper getting injured, but what ever floats your boat mate.

It was a red card and out of the area at the wrong end of the pitch.
If I had a drink I would want it to be what you seem to have been on all day <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile

Ho ho, sending off. But go on then, find us that quote where I or any of the other posters you're now conversing with said it wasn't a sending-off just because mane had his eyes on the ball.
